  • which tx are you using as if its computer radio the adjstments can be done from tx if you cant get enough pitch then move the servo arm on the servo

undo screw on servo and move arm on sevro spigot on all 3 servos on head

  • hello friend

what were the dimensions of the push link that put you?

I am having difficulties in adjusting the angle of the blades of my v4.

    can you help me?

    thanks

  • aliciajay was ok but bean a bit slow on supply of late. your wright its china

if you search for skyartec on google you find a few sites selling spairs good luck simon

  • Thx for that. I'll go for the cnc version as you suggest. I'm planning on buying from aliciajay, is that where you buy from? I couldn't find the honkong site - there is one in China - is that the one you use? The prices are in us currency I assume? Thanks again. M

  • the v4 is better the ali patrs dont break as easy as the plastic dose

plus you can get parts from skyartec in hongkong quite cheep

the parts on v3 are much the same but plastic

go with metal parts if i was you

  • Hi again,

Ok, I'm in a position to go ahead and buy the Wasp V4 - do you think it' worth paying more for the carbon fibre main frame and tail boom edition? If I'm likely to crash it at first would I be better to go for the plastic head version - I don't want to bend the metal head and pay loads to replace it? What difference does the metal head and tail rota make? And finally, is the V3 worth getting instead - its cheaper - do you know how it flies? Thx in advance, M

  • Can this heli do 3D? I am flying a B400 and want something cheaper to throw around.

    thanks

  • wasp parts are cheaper. iv got the gaui 100 pixi 3 blade, the wasp is better the blades are bigger but you will still bend fly bar & main shaft

  • One more thing - I've worked out I cud buy plastic version of gaui ep100 with cheap giro, servos&batteries for £120. Just need radio. The alternative is the Wasp4 for £135 including radio. Which would you recommend? What's the W4 like if you hit things with blades - like sofa or carpet? Thx, M

  • thee gaui is nice if you buy the top of the range ££££££

  • the stock radio will work fine

but to make it less secertive you might need to move the link arms in to min movement

but if your really getting into the hobbie then a dx7 would do all you nead and more that would have expo (it makes the stick control less or more sensitive on the tranmiter ie more control)

  • Cool. Thx for reply. What about the radio - I don't understand heli talk - what does 10% expo mean? Will I have to buy a separate programmable radio like the DX6i or will wit fly well with the stock one. Is setup easy for a beginner to do, so that it flies the way yours does? The alternative to me buying wasp v4, is the Gaui 100 - do you know anything about them? M

  • it is as stable as it looks if you spend the time to balance it up right. also dont put to much movement to the transmiter.use 10% expo .the gyro is a cheap £35 heading lock gyro.

for gentle indoor/calm day flying, it can fly as smooth as a rex 250 and at their cheep price a bargin helicopter

have fun any set up problems just ask

  • Hi there,

Great vids! I'm currently flying a Honey Bee FP (you can find me by typing 'honey bee fp super skids).

I'm planning to move to a collective pitch heli soon and the Wasp V4 from aliciajay looks good and inexpensive. Is there a huge step going to the wasp v4? You make it look easy! What is it really like flying it? Is it stable? Also, another flyer suggested the Futaba gy240 gyro for better tail holding - what' your suggestion? Does the tail hold well with stock gyro? Thanks. M

  • Hi again!

Wasp works good in idle mode?

    Post more videos if possible.

    Thanks

  • hope to get some video tonight if poss got 2 new wasps one with hughs 300 body and the other just norm but with 10 t pinion and carbon 200mm blades their even smoother
