  • im a baton girl in planfield

  • What I is called when you twirl it on You arms in the first 30 seconds line she did?

  • amazing i would love to learn all of that but sadly its my first year in colorguard and i can barely catch a three on rifle....i used to be in gymnastics but after years of not stretching i cant do the things i used to be able to do.....im pretty sure you gave up time to practice and u worked really hard to do this....its awesome :)

  • BATON TWIRLING GOIN TO BE IN THE OLYMPICS 2018!!! AND I WILL BE 20 I AM SOO GOING TO THE OLYMPICS IF IM DOING HALF OF WHAT SHE IS AND IM 13 AND ONLY HAVE BEEN TWIRLING FOR 3 YEARS!!!! gotta loove it!!

  • @cheerfly100 sweetie there ARE no 2018 olympics!!! only 2012, 2016, 2020, etc. hehe love your enthusiasm though

  • HAhah I so remember this ^^

    Good times :}

  • I thought that was in Regina!! That was wonderful:)

  • how is this song called?

  • 'S wonderful

  • 'S Wonderful

  • I am in colorguard, and I thought that was impressive!

  • @Origamifanime I was in the marching band during high school. Watching the colorguard, I wanted to be in the winterguard too, but I live with a single mother who didn't have the money to pay for it. Just recently I got into twirling. Last night, my first twirl practice, I was practicing a basic twirl with an adjustable curtain hanger and almost have it mastered. I also like anime and origami too. We have alot of common interests.

  • @BayyyUhh I agree 100%!!

  • used to twirl with her, great girl :D she did amazing!

  • why dont you all try to throw a metal stick up in the air, spin around multiple times, and catch it, while on your toes, looking elegant and graceful at the same time. its not as easy as it looks. twirling is a sport. really, alot harder than throwing a football across a feild, or hitting a ball with a bat.

  • this routine is WAY better than any of the stupid shit the dumb whore at my high school who tried twirling batons could ever come up with

  • @gothtart13 you are lucky you get to use batons at your school. because we don't. And our routines are weak too

  • This girl is a great athlete, but not really a particularly skilled twirler. Several times she makes glaring errors (such as catching her baton upside down or making sloppy direction changes). Baton twirling used to be about twirling skill, not about gymnastic skill. She puts on a great show for entertainment, but anyone with twirling experience can see the mistakes she makes.

  • thats such a cool talent!!

  • awesome elbow rolls and elbow pops great time toss and thumb flip and illusions!!

  • I Like Twil Chaps Coment Cuz Its True

  • good performance... would have liked to seen her baton speed a little faster, would have made the routine more enjoyable

  • shes great

    '

  • im a baton twirler and i ccan do half the stuff she did and im still young so watch out world!

  • show a video of u doin it then

  • good job, you're really good!

i twirl too, i just started,

and the bad thing is that i try out next year.

    haha.

  • That had to feel good w/no drops ! wtg, and very graceful and flowing choreography to boot ! loved it :)

  • What's up with Saskatchewan?? They breed the best twirlers on Earth!!

  • very good =] i was looking for new tricks on here, and i think i can learn from her!

  • WOW! she is good :D i'm twrilling too but in Norway... i'm not so good like that....

  • Wow, great flow! I feel like I stink at baton now haha

  • turst me i know the feeling- after watching junior preformers my age do all this stuff then i cant help but campare and then mop

  • I do baton to I am against her club I am from Twirlin On Up and Great job Kelly You Did great this year

  • want a cookie?

  • @tweeelweeel444 haha yea right , little 13 year old

  • Blimeeey, THIS IS prrro :D

  • WOW!!!!!!

  • she is weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeell good init me mouth was open the hole time

  • good with the arms!

  • 2:03... i love it...

  • It's good that you always smile! :D

  • Twirling is a great sport. Twirling - If it was easy they would call it Gymnastics.

Lets get twirling in the Olympics.

  • Don't talk smack about something you don't do. Better yet, if baton twirling is so much harder, why don't you go win a 2012 gold medal in gymnastics, tell the world it was easy, and make everyone else look very foolish.

  • really, its a joke, you can say it the other way around as well. i twirl and i know for a fact its hard as hell, cuz i also did gymnastics, and twirling is gymnastics, with a baton, and twirling is much more complex.

  • Color Guard is a great sport - If it was easy they would call it twirling. :P

(I have done guard, twirling, AND gymnastics by the way)

  • Wut?? lol I know this comment is 10 months old, but what you just said is a little off. XD

  • Comment removed

  • u have a flow of elegance and grace love ur outfit 2!!!!!

  • oMG I KNOW HER!

  • What a beautiful routine! Sure there are always little things to fine tune but I was very impressed!! Loved the smile thru the whole routine! Looked like you were having fun! YAY!!!

  • Cut the girl some slack! I think the routine was very well performed. Yes she has things that she is probably working on, but it shouldn't completely take away the fact that she gave a solid performance.

  • its a decent routine but you got flat feet, sloppy free hand, and the leg lines arent so hot either

  • ☺☺☺☺

  • my coach would be happy if i didnt drop it but yeah her flat feet was kinda bad

  • that was good with no drops although i thorght ur reutine was pretty basic espilly at the start...me as a twirler the same age that has been twirling for probley the same amont or a bit less can do pretty much all that..although its a good reutine and i think im gonna try to copy it out to see if i can do it... =) happy twirling!!

  • how long have you been twirling? ive been twirlikng since i was 2 and im 11 now so its alomst 9 years. my coach is working with me for my routine for comptition. its in janurary and its the end of december :O she isnt letting me do a toss illusion catch though so it sucks :(

  • you do not rok at all!

  • that is amazing i thought my baton twirling was good

  • yeah.. what everybody else said.. sloppy feet and freeeee hannddd yikes.

but other than that very nice :D

  • that was bloody amasing

  • exxcusee you? that was rudee. i thott she was preetty good, my coach wouldd say you were rude.. aha! yeahh thts what i thought.

sorry its justt you seem like a bragger.. i thott she was good. great job. workk on your feet.

  • oh comeon! not that hard. really?? i can do all that stuff and im two years younger... but good job having a no drop, feet need work. My coach would def kill me if i was flat feet like that on back neck rolls.

  • ummm....good for you. Why don't you post some videos amazing 13 year old? haha sorry, but I just don't understand people that have to say comments like '' I am much better and have no proof''. The fact to say it is insulting to yourself, just say constructive critism and keep ur other comments to yourself.

  • She's a great twirler - but her footwork needs some attention. She's just a little sloppy in the feet.

  • She is good :D And 15 years old ;p

  • they must not be very strict on the judging in baton twirling. Im a rhythmic gymnast, and if we did leaps, illusions, walkovers, and flexabilities without them being completely perfect, they would not count for anything.

this sport really reminds me of rhythmic gymnastics. nice routine :)

  • True, baton twirling is more focused on the equipment handling. But usually if judges spot imperfections with body work they point it out on the score sheet.

  • I am a twirler but no where near as good as her!!.

    she is really good!!!.

    her free hand needs work!!.

but the judges wont take points!!.

off for the because of her tricks!!.

  • very impressive

  • She is really good!! I myself am a twirler, but not as good as her. But she needs a better free hand...lol

I shouldn't be talking though, 'cuz I'll never be as good as her! Also, my twirling style is prolly much different.

    Anyway, that was incredble!

  • That was mesmerizing, congrats on a great performance. no drops, zowee.

  • wow ur good.. im twirling now but i started 8 years ago.. i love it.. its the most competitive and hard girl sport!!love it!!

  • rhythmic gymnastics is very competitive and extremely hard.. its an all girl sport

  • and baton twirling isn't hard? what are you trying to prove here...pick up a baton, try the sport and then tell me that it i easy. I've done Rhythmics.... I never understood how it was only girls that did it.

  • im not trying to prove anything, Im just saying this girl said its the most competitive and hard girl sport, and im saying it isnt the only hard competitive girl sport, and that rhythmic gymnastics is probably more competitive and hard then baton twirling.

  • ha, um, i twirl too. and it is pretty hard, and it is competitive. baton & gymnastics would be the same in competitive-nesss .

  • Dont need to be all snotty. Im just curious. I dont understand how you can say its the same in "competitive-ness" (which isnt even a word) When the two are completely different. I mean baton Twirling isnt in the Olympics.

  • wasn't trying to be snotty, and i know that competitive-ness isn't a word, i just needed a way to say it. twirling isn't in the olympics cause its not really a sport....they are both competitive just put it that way u dont need to debate which is more competiive

  • Im not debating, Im stating a fact.

  • @psshyourxcutex

not really a sport?? who are you kidding. its not in the olympics because its so subjective. you could have 5 judges judge the same routine five different ways. we dont have a set scale to judge by. twirling takes energy, grace, showmanship, courage, time, patience, and raw talent. u either have it or you dont. it doesnt matter which one is more competitive, but i strongly disagree with you when u say twirling is not a sport.

  • @twirlchamp yes it is a sport indeed it is a sport ot takes just as much or more practice as any other sport does it takes just a smuch ambitiounce as any sport as much patience and as much detacation as any sport and as much pain as any sport or more than any sport!! YES IT IS A SPORT!!! im a twirler so to say that is an insult

  • @twirlchamp im a twirler so i can completely understand by wat ur sayin. twirling isnt a sport right now in the olympics because so many people object that it isnt and yes soon it will be a sport no matter wat any1 says am i right

  • @maddie22577 yea i kno! i seriously hope that twirling will be in the olympics someday too. we deserve a chance to show the world our talent. twirling is an art as well as a sport. and hopefully we will be able to come up with a uniform scale to allow us to compete. it mite not be the rules we want, but id rather make that sacrifice and have twirling in the olympics.

  • @twirlchamp exactly wat im saying !!! thankyou for agreeeing

  • @maddie22577 of course your right!

  • @twirlchamp this is a sport. i dedicated a decade of my life to master catching a nearly invisible bar going 60 mph 100 miles in the air. tell me someone who has never practiced who can do that.

  • Karate isn't in the Olympics either...see what you mean though.

  • i think that twirling is such a misunderstood sport due to its underground-ness. Also, it is increadibly difficult and time consuming. in high school, i would practice up to 30 or 40 hours a week. needless to say, the retention rate of twirling is very low. there are few people that stick with it and are dedicated enough to get to even the level that this girl is at. Twirling is not in the olympics because it is very difficult to judge fairly. Look at the context within the routine...

  • I know its very underground, and im really not trying to compare it to rhythmic gymnastics, but if rhythmics can be an olympic sport, and be judged, im sure twirling can be judged, in rhythmics our body moments are judged (leaps, jumps, pirouettes, flexibility and balances) and so is our handling with the equipment. so thats 2 things the judges have to look at. I think twirling would be a lot easier to judge because you guys focus more on the handling rather than body technique.

  • I don't think you know much about baton twirling.

  • obviously not, thats why im commenting and asking about it. duh.

  • If you don't mind, I'd like to correct you. You were not "asking about it." You were making assumptions about it. If you've never twirled or even seen a twirling scoresheet before, you shouldn't assume that twirling is easier to judge.

  • okay maybe i did assume. And i am assuming its easier to judge if the judges are only looking at the baton rather then body elements... like in RG they look at both and how both can be combined.

  • @xXxReflectingGod

when youve been twirling for 7 years then come back and tell us its not as hard as "rythmic gymnastics" wa is that anyways some sort of interpritive dance or something?

  • Girls only do it because its a feminine sport, everything about it is feminine, from the contorton to the ballet aspects. There is mens rhythmic gymnastics but its totally different.

  • there is guys in baton too ya know

  • idk if you twirl the baton but in my life time of twirling i have had more male twirlling coaches !

  • omg she iz soo gug!!

  • Incredible! I now know that my team, sadly, sucks. Oh, well. Bravo!

  • yeah I realized she wads a level A twirler by the middle of it...I should really watch the whole video before writing my comments...lol...this performance was phenomenal!!!

  • omg kelly you did awesome (im in her group LOVE THIS SONG AND IM REALLY IN THE SAME GROUP AS HER

  • wow! wonderful. and no drops!!!!

  • wow that is good i watched her perform at canadians and it is good . One of my 14 year old fellow twirlers cant catch that trick at 36 seconds.

  • I think I was against her @ canadians...lol

  • nvm... I don't think i was.... was she junior B or junior A?

  • Its pretty obvious.. junior A! She does doubles! (P.S. She can catch triples too). Kelly is the shit.

  • i love this sport. i used to play it and i'm missing it :(

  • lol i believe u.. it is really somthing to ive been twirling for 8years and im only 13 years old

  • ppl need to no...majorettes is completely different to batton twirling x

  • well said! I agree to 100%!!!!

  • its like gymnastics aswel as majorettes.x

  • That was really great. she is amazing

  • THAT WAS A GREAT JOB.

  • utterly amazing. I'm like speechless. When I was watching it I was cringing when the tosses were coming down. She got first I assume? And if she didn't then there is no justice in the world.

  • she is great!!!

  • i enjoyed it... she should really work on a monster roll, i bet you she'd have in like.. 3 days, if she doesnt already have one.. very nice job!!!!

  • wow your so good i can do the shoulder rolls but not the neck your awsome :)

  • excellent. really flawless rolls =)

  • amazing!i loved it!!!!!!!!!!

  • nice technique

  • Nicely Done! Fantastic neck and shoulder rolls!
