Well since Northwest Airlines went bankrupt, they merged with Delta Airlines (combined airlines would still be called Delta once merged, and all NWA aircraft were to be painted to be Delta aircraft). While this story occurred, the two airlines were in the process of merging, so Northwest aircraft were being painted to look like Delta aircraft, and this A330 was already painted to look like a Delta aircraft but was still part of Northwest Airlines. A lot later they finally finished the merger.

Media making a big deal of this attempted bombing of Northwest has caused a frenzy in the general population. Thank God that there were passengers who took action, but media is causing all of this mess. This is what the terrorist wants. How can there be a warning? No terrorist is going to reveal that.
