I don't see the point of spending 2000 points just to fire bullets faster by drinking a soda. Shouldn't pack A Punch enable the gun to shoot the bullets faster? I mean you spend 5000 points just to get the stuff it ought to be a little more worth it. And what's the point of Stamiun Up when you can get the same effect with Speed Cola?Consolidate your powerups into less point spending to make a better enjoyable game in my opinion.

Double tap doesn't waste ammo but it's pretty useless.( to be honest, the only perks you actually need in maps that have the thunder gun is the juggernog and the quick revive, just in case=. The problem with double tap is that it increases recoil ALOT, at least on consoles, so you have to fire by bursts which end up killing the zombies at the same speed that normal firing would. However, if you can counter-balance the recoil by aiming down while shooting, then i guess it's ok.

Wasting ammo because of this perk is an excuse for lack of selfcontrol. You can have this on a reaper and if you use it right can lay waste to over 20 zombies in less than 2 seconds.

Double Tap gives VERY high recoil when firing any special guns. The Ray Gun for example, shooting it with DT makes you go back about an inch. THAT'S why people hate it. Only the "peanutbrains" hate it because of supposively wasting ammo.

Double tapis useful in HIGHER ROUNDS cause u need a little bullets in lower rounds but in higher rounds pactically u wastes all ur ammo any way so buy double tap in higher not lower cause if u did buy it in lower rounds u start complainin so buy it later u still loose ammo any ways in higher rounds so be paitent u wanna go to more rounds quick so buy double tap.

I don't think it's a useless perk, but taking the innacuracy of some of the weapons into account and that killing zombies quicker is not a factor if you can kite, I wouldn't buy it over Jugger/Speed Cola/Etc.

People who think Double Tap wasted ammo...

You must have the brain the size of a peanut....seriously. Double Tap simply shoots more bullets at zombies quicker to take them down quicker. It isnt actually using more ammo is it now? In the high rounds, you will be putting that many bullets/shells/etc into a Zombie to kill it anyway....Double Tap just did it quicker.

In short...NOT wasting ammo as you'll need to spray zombies with that many bullets in the high rounds anyway.

With your double tap comment, it wastes ammo on certain guns.

For instance, on the PPSH-41, it's useless, it does nothing to the gun but speed it up a tad, which is, as said, useless. It already goes so fast.

But on guns such as the HK21 in Black Ops, it's effective.

Actually, with the HK21+Upgrade(HK115 Oscillator or something)+Double Tap = EPIC, because the upgrade doubles accuracy.

The PPSH-41 is good without double tap but i prefer it with double tap because it kills them faster and I don't waste any ammo because I can control how much ammo I use by using short bursts.

@treboruk92 If you hold down the trigger for 5 seconds to kill a group of zombies without DT, compared to with DT, you'll use more ammunition to do the same job. It's about controlling the trigger, hardly anyone can hold down and release the trigger at the perfect time to save ammo while using DT, you're going to spray a few extra rounds too many and waste them. Also, if you don't have Speed Cola(even if you do have it, it'll just speed it up) you have to reload far more often.
