  • whats the song called at 1:49-2:22 ?

those riffs are fuckin brutal \m/!

  • thats some serious technicality... immense band, sick headbanging while recording too xD

  • my bass playing punched me in the neck after ijust couldnt get the easiest part of are guitar part done,,and it worked LOL

  • metal heads are faggots hahhahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

    <666

  • they should solo more often.....

  • Ultra shreddingly brutal

  • whats the song at 2 :15?

  • what's the song with the super dupper breakdown?

  • Nice "acoustic" sound which strings do you use?

  • love the riff at 0:24

  • how the hell is he getting such intense distortion with a TS9 Tubescreamer....i have the exact same pedal and it sounds like classic rock

  • He's using it as an overdrive pedal, not as a distortion pedal. The distortion is from the Krankenstien.

  • oh hahaha alright i was like wtf

  • @lectwar the ts is just a boost for the heavy distorted amp. on the ts they usually turn up the level and tone and keep the drive low. makes it tight as fuck in the low end

  • thanks man ill try it out

  • @lectwar krank.....

  • @lectwar they have it adding gain onto the crunch channel

  • @lectwar id say he uses alot of gain on his krankenstein and combines the two to get that massive sound

  • @marorococa id agree with you and it does have something to do with the way he plays and the combination of the mid low and high frequencies on his pedal

  • @lectwar You use it infront of a high gain amp

  • @lectwar use it as a booster on your distortion channel..

  • @lectwar You use the tubescreamer in conjunction with the amps distortion channel, bassically adding more juice.. You bring the gain down on the amp itself then you make up the difference on the pedal and play around with the pedals tone control etc. Its an old technique used quite alot in metal, usually a set up of a tube screamer into a noise supressor then into the amp, do a bit of research and you'll get more info I only know so much about it.. Plus reamping technique helps..

  • @lectwar tunning he is using is all it is,i use on some songs BEADFB

  • @lectwar the strings and the guitar pick ups as a role in there too or maybe you just need to play with your pedal XD

  • @lectwar Krankenstain Plus is my guess :D

  • @lectwar its being used ontop of an amp simulator on the computer

  • AMAZING

  • bring me the horizon sucks lml xD

  • Comment removed

  • lol reminds me of me when I mess up

    5:55 - 6:08

  • same here, its better that they fuck up in the studio than on stage tho :)

  • NICE this band id fuckin sick and im so gonna see them soon, but that bleeping sound during the guitar recording is that a metronome?

  • yeah it is

  • Yes it is

  • Sure is

  • OMG hahahahahaha

    "is that a metronome ?" :L:L:L

what else could it bee :L

  • ok ok mr smart ass atreyustillremains i get it now.

  • yupp thats a metronome

  • its a click track so all the recording is in perfect time

  • meteronome

  • or click track, its the same thing

  • Awesome tone on the guitars, what amps did ya use?

  • he says he uses a krankenstein plus through an engl cab if I heard correctly

  • Can't believe we're supporting you on 9th August!

    Going to be fucking sick!

You guys have some serious talent.

    ATS

  • at 6:08 what song is that riff off?

  • i love watching studio dairys somethign so satisfying about watching them track it

  • They Play in Dropped B flat.

  • DROP BRUTAL

  • You sir are correct!!

  • drop Bring me the horizon, drop B is gay.

    drop C, or G ftw

  • You're a moron for thinking that, but anyway

    i said B flat.

  • yeah i just realised that you said B flat, i really dont like B though. i guess thats just a matter of opinion though.

really not into this band atall, i dont even know why i watched this video

  • Brilliant.

  • They play in drop B anyways.

  • its not drop B its like A# . F . A# . D# . G . C

  • listen to the album. BMTH, SS, and JFAC are in A#. You can tell straight away that TTBS are in drop B.

  • ive got both their albums and i listen to them alot! I play in A# a fair bit and thats the closest sound i can get to TTB

  • Both times my band supported them, they were tuned to drop B. plus if you go on ulitmate guitar, theres tabs on there. and they're drop B. playing riffs at such low tuning would sound like mush.

  • what are you talking about!? all the tabs on ultimate guitar are powertabs and each one of them say the A# tuning!

  • I agree. And also, if by SS you mean Suicide Silence. They were never in A#. They play 7s dropped down to A and some of the new stuff sounds like G#.

  • All that aside, just use your ears. At 6:07 he strikes the open strings and it's a Bb power chord.

  • they play strictly drop A...on the new album there are some things that sound like the lead is using an 8 string guitar..their studio footage shows them playing an 8 string but not recording with it

  • @lectwar Well link me to where they are using 8 strings, and tell me, with your ears, that they are not using drop A#? rob purnell, you're using A#/Bb? right?

  • 8 string tunning is f#-b-e-a-d-b-g-e....

  • bmth and ss arnt in drop a, bmth play in b and ss play 7 & 8 string guitars

  • BMTH are in drop B...no B...big diff. Suicide silence play 7 strings in drop A

  • Drop b flat mate!

  • Is cannibal corpses tuning isnt it?

  • Sounds like they're still in Drop Bb. If you listen at 6:07, when he hits the open strings, you can hear it's a Bb.

  • english! yaya i'm english and fucking proud of it

  • what tunings do TTB use?

  • Fuckin low ones

  • drop B

  • Drop A

  • What is drop A exactly im a bit of a noob so i never figured it out i know what drop D, C, B are but not A

  • Drop A is a whole step down from drop B just like the other drop tunings you mentioned which are a whole step between each other.

I know that trigger used drop A for purgation but they might have tuned the dropped A up to B and gone to B standard i'm not sure i haven't checked.

  • thx i only asked coz i thought it was drop B with the low E sixth string tuned to A there's not really any where where it tells you

  • Drop A is Slipknot's tuning.

  • Lol nah that's drop b

  • Slipknot vary from Drop A and Drop B, different tunings for different tracks

  • 0:21 to 0:36 Awesome riff!! xD

  • the skin head guy will be getting raped even though im straight , sick guitarists :]

  • yes please lads

  • That is some sick shred!

  • the Krank sounds bitching as hell!

  • hahaha
