You collect these objects to turn them into stars. After every star was destroyed, you recreate them using common Earth objects rolled into a ball.

I thought this game would be "meh". But after playing, I had lots of fun.

I heard the soundtrack was very good, but I think it isn't much. The song playing in this level is very annoying.

It's a game to play when you want some mindless fun to relax. Fun and light-hearted.

It's a PS2 game. You can easily get it by torrent.

@Cellogamer Keita Takahashi designed the game. And I agree, he is a genius for thinking this up. But believe it or not, he wasn't aiming for the game to be ground-breaking or creative, he was just trying to bring the concept of simple, silly fun back into video games.

I know this level has the eternal part if you can get your katamari over 1.30 meters. I did it and yet it didn't show the eternal part when I played it again. the Other one for Star 8 was easy And I got the eternal part unlock, But I didn't get the moon one opened yet that is if you can get it over 800 meters.

Ok, watch again. The rolling doesn't begin until 14 seconds into the video. The goal is reached right before the 5:13 mark. Simple mathematics tells us that we are talking about a span of time totaling 4 minutes and 59 seconds. Now, I'm no master of time nor am I claiming to be super-awesome at this fantastic game but, I'm pretty sure 4 minutes and 59 seconds is a shorter span of time than 5 minutes. Therefore; "I even managed to reach the goal in under 5 minutes! WOO! ^_^"
