  • THIS IS BEYOND AWESOME DUDE!!!!!! GOOD JOB!!!!!!

  • In your search for anime did you find any good mermaid ones, not mermaid melody, i've already watched that. Like the one on 0:38.

  • @ShunVirgo6 No - mermaids is not a common topic for anime. Sorry.

  • what anime is at 0:38 ??

  • @XoxoElliot The space mermaid is from the opening sequence of "Dirty Pair Flash". As far as I know - it has nothing to do with the plot of the anime.

  • This should of won

  • @WeEatBunnies15 I entered it in 5 contests. Four of the contests simply never got judged and I'm perfectly happy with my 2nd place in the last contest. The winner ROCKED.

  • I'm pretty sure I've watched this 100 times by now, and it's still awesome!

  • @jhusker93 I'm also not sure what category this belongs in. Action? Mood piece? Whatever, I just had fun making it! ^_^

  • Good lyric sync

  • @ShiroAMV Thanks!

  • good job for making this but dont stop now because you've talent good luck

  • @syincr0n1 With 33 amvs to my name already I don't think I'm stopping anytime soon. ^_^

  • @kin2naruto good to hear

  • its been a while huh...do you even remember me chicas haha

this is just the same as i always remember your stuff. I liked it. Thought it was lacking just a little bit of something, from an editors perspective, but 99% of people wont know what im talking about. great video.

  • @acerunner007 Not quite that few - the insight meter shows that the majority of people drop it before 30 sec. (the few that like it watch many, MANY times)

  • @kin2naruto i see

its prolly cause of the song though

  • *bows*

I bow to your AMV creating greatness!!!! lol *sigh* as you can tell from my videos i cant make a "correct" fast paced amv to save my life

lol but enough about my short comings! great amv! loved it ..... dont know why I didnt see this earlier *shrugs* but still great none the less lol

  • @Firnlambe That is because you mainly use Skip Beat. The animation is pretty cheap and uses a lot of "Static Animation" where the people just stand around and pose. You can sorta get away with in in an anime but static animation is DEATH to an amv. Look for the clips where somone actually changes position and moves.

(You can use the static frames - but only for ONE beat of the music per clip)

  • It was epic! Pick a great song and all the animations that appear there look good (though I saw you put the Winx Club and Avatar, which are not anime but good), some of conosco and others not, but I'll try to see some of those are listed, (Ah, it was a nice touch you to place names). I'll put in my favorites.

    Greetings from Venezuela.

  • @Marcoxido Thank you, I'm glad you liked it so much. (and thanks for teaching me a new word - conosco!)

  • @kin2naruto Oops ,GOOGLE translator shit, "conosco" should be "I know" XD ... Sorry.

  • oh that is it you actually got me to buy this dumb song, still can't believe that's how the song starts thought it was something you added. oh well.

  • @BrokenFWD Nope - that is part of the song all right (and one of the first parts I managed to fit)

  • i love it XD i could never make this i always find a clip from an anime and love it to much to cut off to make it shorter lol

  • @TTanimeloverTT That's because you 'see' it as an entire clip - zoom in enough to look at the frames and listen to short 3 sec repeats of song. That lets you see it as a part of your final amv. ^_^

  • In terms of editing-wise this is, by far, your very best video yet.

There's always room for a lot of improvement, but u certainly raised your editing standards a lot with this projects.

That said, it's a pretty enjoyable video :) cheers ^^

  • @SephirothIshere I'm glad you liked it. I still see room for improvement too. One of these days I want to do an FX amv!

  • It's a really great video ! =D I really enjoyed it.

    The beginnig is quite funny.

Which Animes can you recommend ?

  • @TenkoxSamatarou Um..... most of the ones in this amv were at least "ok". Try going to Crunchyroll[dot]com and working your way down the list. :D After all, the ones I liked most are probably a bit different from your list.

  • @kin2naruto ...that's right...but wasn't there an Anime where you say: "Oh that's good! :D" ?

    But thanks !!! ;D

  • @TenkoxSamatarou Ok then, a short list of my faves.

    Twelve Kingdoms

    Kaleido Star

    Bleach

    Full Metal Alchemist

    Spice and Wolf

    Avatar : The last Airbender

    Shugo Chara

    Big Windup

  • Which anime is at 0:40?

  • @1Xylek1 The one with the purple dragons is "Ikkitousen-Dragon Destiny". The arm bump is "Dragonaut - The Resonance".

  • @kin2naruto Ah, thanks. I find it amusing that I recognize most of the anime, but there are a few that I don't. Have to go check them out.

  • @1Xylek1 Good. I was trying for a feeling of "I know that one!" for a least part of the amv whenever an anime fan would watch it. That is why I deliberately used distinctive clips for as many of the most popular anime I could fit in.

Of course....... I also used a bunch of really obscure anime on purpose too!. :P

  • nice job merging your clips i like how your clips were at a nice tempo but wasnt to fast. Wonderfull job as always. just one question what were the animes at 0:17, 0:45 and 0:55 :p

  • @codebleach *geh* I just KNEW i was gonna get asked that - lucky for you I haven't erased the project file yet.

    0:17 - Shugo Chara!

    0:45 - Stellvia

    0:53-0:55 - Himawari!

  • @kin2naruto thank you :D

  • I see no mention of Bakemonogatari or Love Hina, yet there were most definitely clips in there...

  • @1Xylek1 Thanks for spotting that! I double checked my anime and found that Fullmetal Alchmist Brotherhood and Yadamon also got left out. All fixed now.

  • BACCANO <3

  • Wow, this amv is so epic, my school's internet can't handle it. Your poor computer...

  • @excaliber009 Aw..... and its not even HQ! Hope you get to see it anyway.

  • with all the stuff you used I'm surprised Avatar was the only non anime you used since many are of vastly different art styles that Danny phantom, Back to the Future, and some Simpsons could go in this with little notice to me. especally since even though I've mostly given up being an otaku aside from manga the last 3 years I somehow knew like 95% of the shows you did use which I find sad to me.

Oh I didn't notice the winkx until the second viewing.

  • oh and just because I love using this as a comment go to watch?v=D8CSuElSO_o&feature=related

from 8:26 to 8:42 for what I thought of this compared to your other videos.

  • @BrokenFWD So..... you liked it then. ^_^

  • @BrokenFWD Not the only one - I also had the Italian animation "Winx Club". What I used was basically what I had on my computer. I didn't hunt down any Disney or Nicktoon clips 'cus I had far more then what I needed already.

Also, Danny Phantom and Simpsons have flat, primary colored animation that wouldn't fit anyway. (never heard of the other one)

  • @kin2naruto putting aside how you never heard of movie with Christopher Loyd inventing a time machine. the only real thing I can side with you there is that less fluidity to the video they would bring based on the art style. Still with that being the case I'm surprised you kept Dragon Destiny and other shows that you called bad in the computer.

heck Zevo-3 works the best so far but that's just cause I'm watching it right now.

  • @BrokenFWD Definitely heard of the MOVIE - just didn't know they made a cartoon out of it. And I didn't chose the anime clips because of the quality, I chose clips that fit together biased on STYLE (color and lineart - not quality). That is why some of the anime I used are really bad and why some of the really good ones I didn't/couldn't use. I might make another one with Western animation some other time.

Or.... you could make one! ^_^

  • @BrokenFWD PS - I downloaded a torrent with 1,400 different creditless openings and endings. That is where I got most of the clips from. I only have full episodes of less then a dozen anime on my computer.

  • u didnt have to watch a gajillion animes to make an amv, watch animes for enjoyment, not for scene searching. but it was really good nonetheless, not mind-blowing, but not bad

  • @dbzpak91 Don't worry - I didn't watch full episodes of bad anime. I watched hundreds of creditless OPENINGS to find the clips. (and stopped watching the Really Bad ones after a few sec (unless they were sooooo bad it was hilarious - then I kept watching just to laugh))

I've only completely watched less then two dozen anime in the list, but one thing I got from making this amv was a few more anime on my "Must Watch" list. ^_^

  • soPRO!

  • @HollowAkeno Oh wow - coming from you? That means a lot to me. :D

  • I am truly speechless. This is the most amazing video from you EVER! I really didn't expect you to top some of my other favorites from you, but you always surprise me. Excellent job!

  • @chicasbros Expect to be surprised even more. I'm not done making amvs yet!

  • wow! This has come out so well! defiantly worth the time waited o it, everything in this fits together really well and you used such a diverse set of clips it is fantastic, it is a real pleasure to watch. and i actually adore the timings, It is great

  • @bliceheart Glad you thought it was worth the wait. I'm a bit slow coming out with new amvs, but I try to make up for it with quality.

  • This was bloody awesome!

I could recognize the beta you used for the first round of FHA Beta Battle.

If i ever get the vid done that i plan to make with this song, it's not going to be even half as great as this one. And i'll only use one anime.

    Great work XD

  • @Rollepiien Hmm..... think I'd like to see a single-anime version of this song. All the other attempts on YouTube are multi-anime as well. As for the beta? You only recognized HALF of the clips 'cus I replaced the other half. :P

  • @kin2naruto Yeah i actually noticed some of the original clips was replaced. But that's why it's called a beta right? So you can change if for something better.

And if i ever get around to finish my vid, you'll be the first one who get's a link XD

  • That was amazing. I thought for a moment I was watching iBestAMVsofalltime :D

  • @Kuebic I'm not sure this got to "best ever" - but I know this came closer then any of my others. The next one should be even better! :D

  • @kin2naruto Looking forward to it :) Keep it up!

  • awsome video :D i cant make one like this

  • @BlackcrescentAngel17 That was my thought too - until I did. You never know until you try, so don't give up and go challenge yourself!

  • @kin2naruto yea i wanna make one w alot of anime but dont wanna download alot of them

  • @BlackcrescentAngel17 Then do what I did - download creditless OPENINGS. My computer couldn't handle tons of eps, but tons of 1:30 openings were small enough. (Bonus - openings tend to have the best animation of the series)

  • @kin2naruto well that's obvious. they get a full episode budget to work for a minute and a half. Heck sometimes it's an entirely different studio. Sadly due to synidactions that isn't the case in American shows as unless it's disney episode clips work fine enough and sometimes it's cut out for weekend plays since Kids shows can advertise for an extra 2 minutes on non weekdays.

  • @kin2naruto yea ur right

  • @BlackcrescentAngel17 tough. in order to make the video you need to down load them.

  • @MecMachinic you mind ur own business ok before i say something i regret

  • @BlackcrescentAngel17 Sorry, MecMachinic is my brother and he isn't always that great at typing what he means.

Translation - "Its still tough. You have to download and go through a TON of openings because there is not that much usable clips in each one. Plus, regular openings have tons of text all over them and the creditless versions are a lot harder to find."

A middle option is to use 1 or 2 eps each from a dozen or less anime. Or movies! That uses less computer memory.

  • @kin2naruto hmm i like ur translation betr but mine only takes a certain knid of format

  • @BlackcrescentAngel17 Yep, all video editing software does that - the solution is converting the clips to the right format. Best program is the freeware "Super" converter. (you have to read and hunt through the entire tutorial pages to find the download link - but its worth it!)

  • @kin2naruto yea tat convertin thng didint work for me

  • Ah, I remember seeing your beta for this a while ago, and I have to say, this blows that away. Normally I like your story based pieces more than your mood based, but this is an exception. Really upbeat and the scenes amplify that. I'm amazed at how well you are able to blend all these animes together. An epic amv indeed.

  • wow! ....

    and ... First!

  • @MecMachinic Seriously? I thought you hated 'first' comments.

  • @kin2naruto I do that is why i put something else in it first. not that I had much to say sense i helped you alpha / beta / omega / k test it. so I guess the highest praise I could give now really is that even after all that testing for the last 6 months this video is not old yet.

  • cool

  • @Doaking ^_^
