i hate that i can do these no problem and i have pretty good handles with my dominant arm and my left arm but when i bring the ball down as soon as a defender comes up to me i immediately pass the ball. i hate that im to afraid to get the ball stolen
@Tonyballin247 You gotta put yourself in more game situations so that you can build more confidence and experience. Try your best to play 1-on-1 at least 3 times a week against someone who can challenge you.
u are good man...i was try two ball drills today and it is not as easy as it looks...so to see u have as synchronized as do...shows a lot of hard work...ima get there tho.
Love these drills!!!!! I have a group of young HS ballplayers that I put through workouts 2 get ready 4 hs ball and college ball ive been lookin 4 some more stuff 2 help them wit their handles
thanks. btw im only 15. so i usually play with shorter people. i work on my handles a few days in a row, then a couple of resting days. i do 2 ball drills like in this video. i want to work on my explosiveness and quickness to drive past defenders one on one.
im liking these videos where you do different drills for ball handling. keep making videos, i want to improve my dribbling. i find it harder for taller ppl to dribble. im about 6'0 and its difficult for me to dribble when shorter ppl are defending me. any tips?
@adenisrodriguez1995 Smaller, aggressive, and quicker guards tend to give bigger guards problems. Sounds like you need to work on "body dribbles". Kobe Bryant calls it the "chicken wing". When driving past a defender, use your off-hand, shoulder, or hips to initiate contact and gain extra leverage on the defender. Also when driving, work on staying low and getting your hips and shoulders below the defenders' to be more explosive. I'll get some drills posted that might help! - Korey Harris
@sigi58 Thanks for the support! If you want to be a great player, you have to committ yourself to work on your game 6 days a week and have one day where you just chill and allow your body to recover. Ball handling is an essential part of the game, and with players becoming bigger, faster, and stronger, ball handling is how you can elevate yourself above the competition. Hope this helps, God bless! - Korey Harris
