I'm a big fan of GW and everyone is entitled to their own view but honestly, what proof is there in the show that this couple exists? I have no problem with people believing what they want to believe but I find it moronic that someone are convinced Heero and Duo really love each other and then ignore Relena and Hilde.
While I see your point, I feel I must point out that the creators of the show admit that while this show is not openly shonen ai, they put in hints of shonen ai on purpose, so the people who support relationships between the boys are not really off base.
Dude, dude! It's... how do I phrase this. The interaction between Heero and Duo is very dynamic. It's why they work so well together even when they're arguing. This dynamic in cannon basically means they end up being good friends but in fanon people take moments in the show- glances, looks, conversations- and build a relationship out of it. They have a chemistry.
It's more realistic to see a relationship between Heero and Duo than Harry and Draco in my opinion and look how big that fanon is.

The origional writers of Gundam Wing deliberately didn't put pairings in so that people could choose their own, they put hints of every pairing in the show but no actual pairings so that everyone could watch the show and choose. I happen to be a bit of a Yaoi fangirl myself but they added characters like Relena so that people who do not like Yaoi can choose to pair the pilots up with females. This amv is brilliant! I LOVE DuoXHeero!
I think that freedom is the best bit. Even when I love a pairing from something else, if it's unlikely, I can't enjoy it too much. Like Kyo-Yuki from Furuba. It just wouldn't in a million years happen, so I'm like "nice, but...eh."

I really don't see how you can make the mistake of thinking them gay. Two men can be friends without either of them being gay. In the series, Duo is a foil of what Heero is, and the two are if anything buddies. Sure Heero dosn't act like it, but equally you don't see him kill Duo. And Duo himself is just out looking for at least somebody on his side. All of the characters in the show are pretty much looners and are looking for some acceptance. Although I will admit, Qautra was a flamer.

There are no relationships at all portrayed in the anime, as far as physical contact; the closest is Noin and Milliardo, since she keeps photos of him in her living room and was once seen leaning up against him.
I think it's cute, and it doesn't have to be yaoi, it depends on how you look at it, since they weren't gay in the series... not that I'm a homophobe or anything, it doesn't bother me. It's sweet in a friendly way or other, I think. It's very well done. I want to make one so bad now! :0

In fan fiction the boys are represented by numbers. A "x" between them indicates a sexual relationship, while a "+" means just cuddles. The <3 is meant to represent a heart, so Pacchiri is saying "i like that this video shows Heero and Duo as lovers".

hey question...this doesnt have anything to do with Heero and Duo, cause they arent gay in the series. but what about Qautre and Trowa? I havent watched all of the series so i dont know waht happens. are they ever actually together or kiss or anything like that in the anime? I cant figure it out...

There are no relationships at all portrayed in the anime, as far as physical contact; the closest is Noin and Milliardo, since she keeps photos of him in her living room and was once seen leaning up against him.

I think it's cute, and it doesn't have to be yaoi, it depends on how you look at it, since they weren't gay in the series... not that I'm a homophobe or anything, it doesn't bother me. It's sweet in a friendly way or other, I think. It's very well done. I want to make one so bad now! :0
