  • Skiing is so gay

  • WOW, learn to ski before you attempt double blacks.

  • Blacks and doubles in the Midwest are just that...in the Midwest. You get what you get in any geographical location. Of course they aren't going to necessarily be as steep or as technically challenging as some west coast mountains. That's what you get with a 3,000 foot difference in vertical height. If you like Colorado mountains, ski there. However, next time you come out to the Midwest, try the blacks at Chestnut Mountain (IL), Granite Peak (WI), or Mount Bohemia (U.p.MI)

  • more like a blue, thats not a double black

  • ya blacks and doubles in the midwest are a joke. I've seen a number of blacks in the midwest that could even be greens out west. It's ridiculous

  • Your comment is somewhat untrue. Lutsen has some pretty legit double backs. Also a handful of midwest ski areas: Afton, Chestnut, Devils Head, and some others have blacks that are pretty steep and easly match steepness grades at of blacks at Breck and Vail

  • thats sad im 13 and i kan do double black diomands

  • there mogals

  • @creepyvannila Well I'm 37 and I can tie my own shoelaces.
