the 2011 zx10 looks ugly from the side simply because they lowered the height of the rear seat/ subframe making it uneven with the windscreen like in the 2010. i like it better when its even with the windscreen

I know what you mean when you say that "...zx6r and im loving it, it feels light and nimble on the turns" that's exactely the same feeling I had with the R6...I suppose that all the 600cc ( exception for suzuki ) fell alike due to the weights and size. You gain agility on the turns with a 600cc but loose power on low gears; you gain lot of power with a 1000cc but loose agility on turns ..

I just bought the 2011 ZX10R last night and I must say it gives me goose bumps when I start it up..All the technology is amazing but the power is just brutal. When I'm not riding it I am watching it on YouTube .. Best 13K I have every spent.

I tried both and I may say that BMW is rather a surprise...with no doubt kawa's look is more agressive and you must pay attention to continuous wheeley from gear 1 to 3. You know sooner from 1st ride what Kawa is good at and difficult to domate..

You can believe that Bmw is more docile because easy to ride within 3-4000 rpm...wrong ! watch out beyond the 6000 !!

Just got the 2011 ZX10r, very happy with it. Properly tuned, light mods and it stomps the shit out of the BMW. Stock for Stock there pretty even.

They are both great bikes I test rode the kawa and my word it is insane and with the electronics to keep everything in check you can ride super quick with alot of confidence, the power is mind blowing.

It's a toss up. The two will be within a tenth of a second of each other in the 1/4 mile. So it comes down to reliability/maintenance intervals, price, looks, and even comfort I suppose. Anyway that yellow S1000 looks fucking gay haha. Looks sick in the other colors though! At least the black and the BMW blue/white anyway...

ZX10R for sure almost the quality n fun but the bmw is twice the price is like the new mustang gt n the m3 same performance double the price

also the kawasaki can be repared at home but with the S1000RR bike even oil change will b in the dealer

lastly, i was living in a very hot country n the germans cars brake up easily so u cant trust them, but the japanese u can trust them.
