Probably you mean 10 foot, which wouldn't be true either. A hundred foot are more than 30 meters ;-)

They sure are a 100 foot 'deep', when you fall down them!!

And the rest! At least 100ft deep. Scary thing about crevasses is if you fall down them, you are obviously moving quickly, and the walls contract as you go down, so you are forced into a narrow gap where you are wedged.

not always true, crevasses can open up to wide spaces down below at times
