Ok I get it, you gotta make a living but just be honest, You can cut your hair youself and make it even. I prefer cutting my own hair because I've had terrible hair dressers. My last time getting my hair cut the hair dresser couldn't stop complaining-to another coworker- about how tired she was and couldn't wait for lunch, in the end my hair looked like it was butchered by a 5 year old. When I cut my own hair I put more care and time into each cut, because I honestly want it to turn out good.

I have really thin flat but long hair and i cut my own cos i don't trust salons anymore. they rarely ever get it right. i think when they see long hair they salivate and their fingers twitch with excitement at being let loose with long locks. I've been cutting my hair (short layered bob style) for months. I feel I need to because I have super thick hair that grows fast and every place I've been to either doesn't know how to thin out hair properly or doesn't want to. I can't afford to get my hair done every month. So I use thinning scissors to reduce bulk and regular scissors to cut or trim the bottom. The only prob is getting the bottom straight when cutting it but I get help with that. Everyone thinks I get it professionally done.

What I meant was, I've seen (and unfortunately paid for) hair stylists who were more concerned about giving a quick haircut rather than a neat one so that they could have more time to themselves. In other words, people who are too focused on the bottom line to care about the quality of their work.

Notice that there are an incr amt of ppl walking around with really messed up hair cuts? This is due to the passive aggressive epidemic spreading throughout hair salons. Cut your own hair, it will save you the physical and emotional trauma from these passive aggressive stylist. U can NEVER id a passive aggressive hair stylist! They will be extremely friendly to you the whole time to mask their anger/insecurities. Spread the word, prevent your family and friends from becoming victims.
