Why this axleback vs. the Maddad Whisper?

@carlb86 Just personal preference. It's actually to see a Hayward & Scott Original Scoobysport Axle back.

sounds great. Just curious, does the maddad intermediate pipe have a resonator or is your axleback just really quiet? Anyhow, I love how quiet it sounds.

The intermediate pipe is a straight 3 inch pipe with a ending 2.5 flange to mate to the axle back. No resonator.

Thanks! do you think it would be possible to mate this pipe with with a stock wrx axleback? The piping on the axleback is 2.25, I believe.

Nope it looks somewhat stock. Plus the tip is not big or anything. Close to the same diameter as the stock sti axle back opening

only mod on it is the exhaust?

No there are more mods like PNP exhaust manifold, high flow crosspipe, catted downpipe, helix up-pipe.

i used a normal back Box. Stock diameter an deletet the resonator. Inside not bad noises and outside good noise.
