Incredibly, Serbia is the only country in Europe without a single completed highway! It is no wonder since the country has been ruled by corrupted imbeciles for the last 20 years. Communists, socialists, democrats, all the same kind of thieves and scum!

Serbia has c.a. 510 km of completed highways, a lot of em are reconstructed. By end of this year the construction of a new 350 km long highway from northern Serbia to Western part of it will start. for more info u can go to the website linked in the movie, go to section "documents", there u can see some infrastructure pictures.

And Serbia do have more highways than for example Bulgaria or Romania which are in EU, heh.

The hard fact is that there is not a single completed highway in Serbia from border to border. The North-West highway is just a talk, going on for many years. Even if completed, that route is STILL not going to lead from border to border. What is even worse, that whole plan is a concession to a foreign company, so all the profits from the highway will go elswhere.

Serbia needs people who can organize the major infrastructure work, not patching holes in the road. Is there any reason NOT to demand that the government does its job?

The North-West highway is NOT just a talk.When completed, that route going to lead Pozega (Uzive, Zlatibor), Cacak (Kraljevo,G. Milanovac), Valjevo, Obrenovac and other places to Belgrade and Croatian or Hungarian border and rest of Europe. The whole plan is a concession to a foreign company because there is no money for that project,

but Croatia (A 1 Zagreb - Karlovac - Bregana - Split) and Hungarian (Seged - Budapest) highway is a concession too...

There will be a highway to Obrenovac? That is wonderful! But I will miss the scenic route to Belgrade, such as the Sava :(
