  • Nice job on the boat...Have you found any over spray on your truck yet?...How about the car parked in front of the boat?...If your looking to get out of this the cheapest way possible, maybe you should spend alittle time in the woods picking up sticks to use instead of buying the pvc pipe...Cheaper and more realistic...Just some advice man.

  • cool man im gunna do that now :) :) :) :)!

  • looks good. Thanks.

  • What size jon boat is that? Great vid btw

  • @MrShortstop29 16 alumacraft

  • @crazydude329 Thanks

  • that is realy nice :) , but can someone help me and my friend... we are gonna paint our boat, it is aleminium what paint will we need?

  • I used this video as a base for my boat refab. It turned out great! Thanks for the post. I did it a bit different, but definitely mocked from your tutorial. It looks awesome!

  • Great Vid! Thanks for the inspiration to get my old boat, redone.

  • Best overall results..nice!!

  • Spray paint really flies. You probably have a mist of camo on your truck. I would suggest you move the truck and at least cover the motor and the seats on you boat.

  • type into search box "gopro oregon duck hunting boat"

  • I looked online at the Marsh Grass color and it looked to be darker than the one ya'll used. What was the exact color of Parker paint you used as your base coat? Great loking by the way!

  • @amvaneyk i wanna say sand?

  • That looks really nice thanks

  • nice job great idea for side rail and gunnel. i just did a camo vid for my rifle. your boat looks great not to much or to little, ill show it to my brother .

  • what boat is that?

  • @crankdatsht alumacraft

  • What's the purpose of the camo?

  • @morrel2 so YOUR dumbass cant see them.....LMFAO

  • Cool

  • Looks great! How did you apply the oil base paint? Spray or brush?

  • Nice good job

  • Nice! Any chance you want to do mine :) haha

  • It has held up 90%, the wood gets moisture from the bottom and has weather cracked opening the bed liner

  • Roll on liner, when I do the floor again I will use a sheet of aluminum tread plate, I not

  • Beautiful boat!!!! If you ever put her up for sale let me know!!!!

  • Do you reckon that SUV got a little camo too? :)

Nice video, thank you for sharing, Soon as I can find me an old fishing boat we are gonna try that :)

  • You said you used truck bedliner for the floor. Did you use black liner and paint it? Is it holding up ok?

  • Where did you get the paint at?

  • @waterfowlerman walmart

  • very cool boat,looks great

  • nice !

  • 5 stars!! Looks awesome. But I hope you didn't get overspray on that nice suv in the driveway!

  • Really really nice. Thanks for the tip..nice way to cammo a boat. Fast too. This is a great contribution to 'How to Cammo your Boat'. Good job. Just what I was looking for. P.S. Bet you have an 870 somewhere too. ;)

  • @rdchv three of them ha and you're welcome

  • @crazydude329 hey you shoulld paint a skateboard for me!!

  • im gonna paint my boat red tiger jk

  • where exactly did you buy the parker paint?

  • wow thats amazin' im going 2 try it.

  • I enjoyed the simplicity of the paint job. Just got done trying it and was pleased with the results,

  • I'm looking to paint my truck and love the PVC pipe idea. Thanks.

  • i must say this is a simple and great idea ! we just ordered the paint and will probably paint it the same way

  • so.. how much paint got on ur truck?

  • @TRoe19 none luckily, good wind. But its hard to get overspray with flat spray paint. Nothing a little clay bar cant fix

  • I read where you painted the khaki tan with a brush, Did you strip off the original paint to bare aluminum or just scuff up the factory paint? Also do you thin the base coat any or wet sand it? Sorry for all the questions....Carolinasled.

  • looks better from farther away

  • why didn't you take the motor off?

  • bolted on and i was feeling lazy

  • Comment removed

  • went right over factory one year in its lasted 100%. Now i would use my gravity hvlp gun but spray paint will wear off eventually. the base isnt spray so idk

  • alumacraft

  • how long is that boat and how fast does it go with that 20?

  • 16'. Its a four stroke 20 and it goes 20 21 with one guy no gear. Has a prop gaurd idk if that makes a diff

  • looks good! what did you use to apply the oil base paint? a spray gun or brush?

  • brush. I would spray it if i did it again

  • thanks for uploading this im definately using this approach on my piss green jon boat looks pretty simple to do too

  • That looks like shit!! Decent????????? I could shit on it and make a better camo pattern than that shit.

  • i want that boat

  • wat is the best brand name of spray paint i could use on my aluminam boat? i would like it to hold up for a while at least a few years. reply asap thanks

  • My new favorite paint is valspar. Havent used it in a boat yet but it seems very tough. Not sure if it comes in flat green and brown. But other wise the camo paint you find at any home store will work. Rustoleum and krylon work the same in my experience. They are mediocre. It will scratch off easily and wear. Bout the only other option is to get reducer and spray oil base from a gun.

  • was wondering what brand of khaki tan paint you used on your boat. and the tubing idea is a great hint!!

  • hey i was wondering what brand of marsh grass paint you got and where you got it. i am painting my boat soon so let me know asap please

  • any oilbase paint will work i got it at fleet farm. Its the parker brand cabelas sells.

  • so i got the spray paint kit and the inside of my boat is metal can i spray paint over it to take away the shine?

  • get the etching primer. Haven't tried it my self but spray paint wont stick good on bare aluminum. They have it at auto stores i know. Rustoleum makes it i think

  • @crazydude329 thanks for uploading this im definately using this approach on my piss green jon boat looks pretty simple to do too.

  • Thanks for the video. Just did mine like this one.

  • nice job on the paint man!

  • a few days just because I wanted the paint to dry before I put on too many coats. Yeah 16 foot alumacraft

  • @crazydude329

how did you get around those 2 reinforcements in the very back of the boat where the gas can sits? or did you just leave them tan?

  • @fishcity100

im not 100% sure where you are talking bout

  • Where the gas can sits in the back, there's two triangle reinforcments that brace the back of the boat. You may not have them, but my boat does.

  • how long did it take you about?

  • nice i love my boat, i bought it with that max 4 sticker sheet, it looks nice but after a while some of it peeled, oh well i got it for 4 hundred bucks from a friend, i like your boat is that a 16 foot?
