fun fact- technical power is secondary to art direction and style. for example, yoshi's island on the super nintendo looks better than the vast majority of modern games, because of its superb art direction.

if you think mario galaxy is a bad-looking game just because it's technically inferior to a lot of PS3 games, then you're an idiot. the game has superb art direction which more than compensates for the lack of technical power.

Who cares about the graphics, Its about gameplay and the Mario Galaxy games have some of the best platforming gameplay ever, if you don't like them don't even try and play Wii games, without Nintendo's games in the 80's you might not be playing whatever crap your playing on the 360 or PS3.
