also i have not been able to confirm that niether the tie bomber or its predicessor the TIE gt fighter had shields

the tie figher was created by seinar technologies, who also created other tie varients including darth vaders tie advanced, and the tie defender, and both had deflector shields

not true the deflectors on Darth Vaders Tie advanced saved him from the quad laser cannons of the falcon, and the tie avenger's are not as power full but its manueverable enough to escape serious damage

I was going on the Basis of the base TIE, and the TIE interceptor, for the longest time The only TIE model that had any shields worth having, were the Bomber Variants

neither of those had shields, but the tie intercepor recieved shields because of a refit by grand admiral thrawn

you min thik 0 the problems is that ingame they will be so small that you will not see them - thus the size of some parts
