It is, yes, Bobby Marchan. I had the great pleasure of seeing Huey and the Clowns with Bobby live during their last-gasp re-emergence in New Orleans in the late seventies. Bobby performed in drag pretty often.
I can't believe how great this group sounds! So vibrant & today. It blows me away that Huey Smith & his Clowns were peaking in the late 50's-60s & 70's! I just discovered them. I love that whole "gang" especially Jimmy Marchand! I'd have given anything to have seem them live! Thanks for sharing these treasures!
