Wow we always had to go to alot of trouble to sell our take homes back when i was on it. If one person was outside the clinic the cops were there instantly. You couldn't sit in a car outside of the clinic or anything. Who would want to get on Methadone? It's the most horrible shit ever

Anyways, the doctors put me onone thingafter another for tha pain, eventually trying methadone bc nothing really worked. I am now a 21 year old methadone addict who NEVER signed up for tha part. So please people who dont kno about this struggle or lifestyle, stray away from criticizing us bc everyone that takes methadone isnt a JUNKIE...alot of people are on it bc of instances like me or for chronic moderate/severe pain....

I have a sister who is on methadone. Yes it is harm reduction and it initially helped with the heroin problem. However, not with the crack addiction. Altho I don't have first hand experience with methandone peronally, I do understand that there is little assistance to get off of methadone. Of course there is money that is being made from having people on methadone and I would question if this is a reason there is very little assistance for those wanting to wean themselves off?...

i have been on Methadone 10 years.The clinic i go to, you cannot hang outside like they are on this video, you go in, you see your counseler,you get a urine, you see the doctor. I get monthly take homes- BUT i am called in spontaneously for a check up-a random urine, and dose count. If I don't report within 24hrs, if i fail my urine, or if I am short my dose- I am kicked out. I have never seen anything like this at any clinic I go to. this must be RANDOM!!

Methadone 10 years?. come on at some point your supposed get off it! my girlfriend is on it and i HATE IT!!!. always moody and is not the same person that she was.she started at 85mg 2years ago to get off pills and is down to 25mg but its bin a fight and even when she told the clinic she wanted to go down they try to convince her "SHE SHOULD NOT DO THAT" there the fucking drug dealers. This is an outrage.. I have been in Methadone maintenance treatment for about a year and a half and it has SAVED MY LIFE!! But like anything else you have to want to be straight.. I go to a clinic in AL and this shit wouldnt happen for a second there they would have you locked up and kicked out. Hell now if you have takehomes they can call you at any time and make you bring your methadone to the clinic and have them make sure what is suppose to be there and if its not you are discharged then.

I bought dope at this clinic when I was a junkie. This clinic is the worst of the worst of all clinics and is loaded with scum and criminals. Meth clinics are usually not good places to make new friends.

i agree its nothing to do with the increase of methadone users..its people using on top that kills them..they should all be supervised in there consumption of meth.make sure its swallowed.then thats the prob sorted but money comes into it thats why people die because of lack of funds

My son was killed by a methadone clinic in Dallas. He had a pain pill addiction. He sought help and was murdered by them. They gave him too much. He only took Zoloft and the methadone they gave him. People need to know how dangerous methadone is and how these places only want to get people hooked on another drug and get your money. .With no plan of getting you off of the methadone. Methadone is more available because of prescription drugs like Oxycontin, & opiate painkillers that doctors are writing for pain -not heroin addiction. If doctors were more responsible ,m*done would mostly be drank in front of a nurse at a clinic not brought outside to sell. The T*H*B,s heroin addicts receive arent the problem, its the scripts un-informed(greedy?) doctors are writing to kids who probably should be taking a much less potent med for pain.
