Why this group didn't achieve a higher level of stardom is beyond me. Perhaps it was so crowded at the top there wasn't room for another legitimate contender. His voice was incredible, the musicians were blue ribbon all the way. The songs were hard driving and great ear candy.

I see a lot of comments along the lines of wishing back for 80's rock music and for good reason; there is just simply nothing inspiring about today's stuff. I graduated high school in 1986 and listened then to the likes of Ratt, Def Leppard and Motley Crue. It was just fun to listen too and that decade transcended music in a big way. From 1983-86 the groups were classified as Heavy Metal. After that it was a all Glam until Grunge. This tune scored big with a rare blend of rock and blues.

You know, Great White is one of those bands I didn't take too well to in the 80s during the heyday of glam. I'm pretty sure it's because I was 13 and I didn't appreciate music the way I should. I was a Warrant/SkidRow/VVI/Slaughter type of guy. Now, at 36 years old, I totally appreciate it!
