It looks great, but i prefer the standard guitarist+bassist setup, lol. it's also more fun to jam with a friend, rather than being able to do it all by yourself, and therefor doing it all by yourself :p
I have seen a few Chapman sessions now on the internet, and though its impressive to watch I still havent found one that sounds like much more than a half-decent guitarist playing with with his half-decent bassist buddy..
So Im having trouble getting what this instrument brings us purley music-wise, as I still would prefer EVERY tune ive heard played by a regular setup...
this is true, somewhat, but when you are the musician performing the chapman it eliminates the number of people getting paid at the end of the night....haha
mr octopus prime (because he plays two different instruments at the same time) does it again..haha.. u got mad skills on the stick, man, i was gonna try to pick it up and try to learn it, but i cant find one for less than 1 grand.... and its hard to pay that much, lol
my favorite things was great.

You are the first of the "amateur" Chapman Stick players I listened to here on Youtube, who has and can hold a groove.
(not suggesting you're an amateur though)

Does it have a couple of outputs?
Cuz I hear effects on the top end, and the bottom is dry....... JUST LIKE WE LIKE IT...... LOL
edenmaze 4 years ago
yea, those have stereo outputs so you can do exactly what you were describing. they have two different sets of pickups too
Chester31124 4 years ago
its one output, but u use a mono to stero cable. And use bass and guitar amp^^

You are very good. I would love to play an NS stick but they are way out of my price range :(

I am 'highly' impressed. I already knew you were a great musician, you also have skills at producing as well. Glad to see you here as well bro.

Very impressive!
Crazy skills, but I just cant help it:

I could still watch it for many hours, though :-)

try searching for Guillermo Cides, he uses a looping station with the Stick and has some wonderful stuff :)
