im from ireland and i think he'd be brilliant in the england midfield... gerrard and lampard just don't work... simple as that 2 great players but just don't gel... i think Carrick should be given a chance too... hes a better passer than either of them and has the ability to release the ball to the forwards quicker than the other 2...
