You have taken Ben Franklin out of context He didn't mean we had to choose between defending our rights to be safe and our freedom. As usual! You totally forgot that the US was bombed repeatedly before George Bush came around. I don't agree with everything he does or says. However, I was there to see the results of Islamo-nazi's during the Clinton years as a Marine Security Guard in Nairobi. Would you like to know what Democrats did then...Nothin'! Yes. I still feel that the Bush administration should have stayed focused on the "terrorists", instead of using our military to invade Iraq. Why Iraq??? They had nothing to do with 9/11??? Thousands of Iraqis were killed in our invasion. Why??? God Bless our troops, but not our Government! Cheers

Layall the U.S. put Saddam Hussein into power of Iraq in 1976. The reasons for going into Iraq were not to "help" it was because they were obviously tied with al-queda and the attack on the U.S (9/11) and were housing WMD's. Both are untrue. $15 billion to aids is great, however $250 billion to bomb a country over false information is disgusting.
