@MrJacason Its a Tower LED Bulb. . No one currently makes a LED taillight for these trucks and not sure if they ever will since the demand isnt great. . What you can do is get a set of taillights new usually so they look good get the Oval LED lights and cut out the rear of the tail light and seal it in. . Thats going to be your brightest most likely
Long time no chat. finally got my 86 converted to led. the only lights that aint led are the headlights, the 4 off-road lights and reverse. on the inside is a ssc p7 led connected to a driver. lights up the inside very good. camera dont do justice. i custom built the led tailights
@WARD5KUSTOMZ How did you go about building you tail lights? Ive made a set in the past where i just cut the back off and mounted a light like on my tool box inside and sealed it up. .
@n0tl0wen0ugh i took 2 flatblade screwdrivers and slowly pryed them apart. glued in the light boards then glued the lense back on using jb weld. You have to take it slow and easy or youl bust the whole thing. was gona try to make a set for my 93 F250 but they busted
@AnythingWeThinkOf Late again my bad. . They dont make them for that specific body style but they do have them for the next body style up. . Ive heard there just about the same though so maybe check it out
I buy my lights off ebay all the time. I dont have my running lights as led but my hide aways are. Just buy the american leds! Dont buy straight from japan!!!
Where did you get your LED tail lights? I have a 85 Ford F150 and can't find any no where Thanks !
