@garina001mariene i went to the 2011 one here in times squareIT WAS AWESOME. i live in ny for long time but never went to it. but you have to be there by like 5 pm because it gets full quick and before going in police has to check EVERYBODY. so if you want to be in good spot try being there like at 4 pm. yes you'll be standing there for 6 to 7 hours lol but you can go eat something but once you are inside times square you cant get out. if you are late you go to the back where u cant see anything

its really not worth it belive me! unless you cn pay the expencive tickets to walk right in and be close enought to hear the music go riht ahead but if you dont, expect to be in the new york cold for looongg hours making lines and walking long block to figure out where your suposed to go having to deal with the new york police etc etc etc.... i was there and im never going bak to the new years celebrtion i love ny tho its amazing i waana live there sum day
