I'm starting April 16th this year (2010). I guess you have to be ready for any kind of weather, especially when going over the Pyrenees. Buen camino a todos

Wow!!! What a cold start you have had!! Your photos give such a good view of winter conditions on the Camino- but you are still smiling. Thanks for sharing these great photos.

Thank you for your comments on my slide show. I just watched yours and I'm amazed at what a difference a few days can make. I started April 5th from Sauveterre de Bearn in the French Basque country and didn't encounter snow at all. I agree with you I'm missing it a lot and I really want to walk it again.
