  • favourite screw? she kills him a few years later haha

  • Don't you notice that Simon is much nicer to Karen than he ever was to Helen. I'm glad he got sacked. Served him right.

  • does helen come back later in either the series or another i cant remember but i thought she did?

  • She does around Episode 206. Now what you may not know is that they "almost" didn't bring her back because they weren't sure what to do with their character. I'm so glad that they did because SL & MJ "were" Bad Girls.

  • "Hi, I'm Di Barker"

Uh oh, here comes some crazy.

  • What the hell is this? The two Julies defending Jim Fenner? Has ANYONE ever heard of the word "Logic"?

  • He was probably the only "Man" that treated them with decency. He "did" give them extra time for Spencer's Wake, even though Sylvia didn't approve.

  • HELEN COME BACK!!! *crycrycrycrycrycrycry*

  • I love the way Denny always strolls around with her hands in her pockets

  • I love the way she walks. I think she is the coolest character ever created on tv!

  • I feel so bad for Fenner's kids.

  • I believe was a suprise letter to nikki from helen. a clue of what they talked about early in the series.

  • haha! the look on bodybags face was priceless! even if i dont like Karen... well at least Jim is gone for a lil bit!

  • it took julie j a bit 2 long 2 realise that her kids wud be in England

  • Ooh yes!...

So what's the picture supposed to mean then?

  • It's a picture of George Eliot. In season 1, there were some scenes in which Nikki and Helen were talking about books, remember? Nikki was reading Silas Marner and Helen was all impressed. It's a reference to that.

  • Thanks for the info. I was wondering what "Recognize this" meant on Helen's postcard to Nikki. I was about to go back through series 1 and see if I could find the reference.

  • I think that it's probably a portrait of 'George Eliot', author of Silas Marner. 'George' was the nom de plume of Mary Ann Evans, who chose a male name so as to be taken seriously in an age that undervalued females. She wrote 'Middlemarch' and 'Silas Marner', both of which are mentioned early in series 1.

  • Thank you for that wealth of information!!! = ) I remember Helen mentioning Middlemarch.

    Thnx = )

  • That legacy still continues with the Harlequin Romance Genre in which many of the Novelists are men. Even when VC Andrews wrote "Flowers In The Attic", she didn't use her full name because at that time there were no horror female novelists.

  • What does the writing say on the card? Is it "Forgive this? H"?

  • I think it says "Recognize this? H."

  • yeah it does.
