"yes we can" is the chant of people that have sat on their couch angry and frustrated at the government and world. Yet feeling disarmed, unable to do anything. They wanted to believe they could but did not know how. Everyone said, "it's impossible". Illogically implanted pessimism has dominated and histroy was the context. Then a beakon of hope, a man who says, "yes we can". None of us are sure what this means but we know it is what we have been waiting to hear. Listening and finally believing.
