I've actually bought an assassins creed 2 onimaru mask and here's my pros and cons after playing 20+ paintball games with it.
Pros: looks awesome, vision not hindered, lightweight, intimidating
Cons: paintball paint slightly smears the paint, hard to clean the eyepieces,SOAP WILL SMEAR THE PAINTJOB use a cloth and clean water only, slight fogging, lens is starting to spider near the screws.Everything is fine apart from a vertical crack down one of my lenses, as i took two direct shots to the eye
@TheAdamski92 on my onimura mask fogging isnt really an issue. when the lenses do fog up though, i find that deeply inhaling through your nose and exhaling through your mouth down wards will clear it up in seconds.
Looking down sights is also a lot more difficult than wearing the conventional pb mask.
@CNovz ok so i just watched the mask review that i think you're talking about and see no similarities in the 2 videos what so ever. i think they did a really good job to be honest and did a really good review. and i dont know if you noticed or not, but, i actually uploaded my video before they did so go ahead and give yourself a pat on the back dumbass
@cheesebrain9 onimaru has a cooler version of the commando one that just came out, and has stronger lenses, but both still do crack and spider from direct paintball shots
how does it handle when shot to the eye multiple times with paintballs. ive seen what can airsoft can do to these, but what can paintballs do to the eyes?
@xXfreakbotXx you would be correct the airsoft ones have a metal mesh and the paintball ones have high impact glass that dont chip so they could be used for paintball as well
@quanghoahong paintballs dont mess up the mask at all. you are right though airsoft can mess these masks up pretty bad. this guy uses a different kind of material. if you google fifth canal corp it should take you to his website and he actually has a video of him hitting them with a baseball bat. it does take a little damage but it handles impacts like that pretty good. hope this helped
Noobs like you make me happy to be a stock player. While you're "giving your edge" to your silly mask, I'll gog you with my ten holder. Stop spending your money on trying to 'buy' yourself good, just go out and practice.
@ThePlayfulmutt bro im on a professional woodsball team and have won more tournaments than you can ever dream of going to but thanks for the advice about practicing. now go out and play with your little friends ok little buddy :)
@ThePlayfulmutt and also i actually get these masks for free because im sponsered by the guy who makes these who lives in thialand. you will probably not be sponsered by anyone ever especially someone who lives on the other side of the globe so please dont bad mouth me ok my friend
@jmcyea if you go onto ebay and look up a buyer called fifth canal corp he actually has a video of him hitting his masks with a baseball bat and granted it does take some damage but he uses a special kind of material that most other people dont use
@AnthonyL321 i agree i love these masks and i love the looks people give you when you show up to tournaments with them. show them off man show them off
Does it fog and can it take a paintball?
