  • OMG the fat guy solo extremely fast o_O soooooooo cool

  • First Canon Rock, and now this... these guys are soo epic... :D such great musicians.

  • absolutely masterful. my favorite is the blue grass.

  • just did the real version of the canon with a quartet at my college, my teacher showed us this afterward and i cant stop watching it

  • wuau fabuloso, estupendo, la verdad que padre inspiran a la juventud para ser como ustedes, saludos desde tuxtla gutierrez, chiapas mexico

  • Me? My teacher is good friends with the LAGQ. He just asked for them.

  • where did you find the notes?

  • god! i have no regret if i die out right now!

  • @ballsxmcgee I swear there is always a comment that comments on a comment about a comment about people who dislike

  • Brak słów żeby wyrazić podziw ... :) Szczególnie spodobała mi się gra tego największego :P

  • Makes me wish I was back in high school with my old classical guitar quartet. We even played one of their songs: "Dreadlocked". I keep thinking they shout "Taco Bell" though. -.-

  • And you are now off in your own little dream world.

  • O=

  • AMAAAAaaaaZING !!!!!!!!!!

  • 120 fucktards

  • 120 people are retarded mutes

  • @RyunP no they are not

  • Muy bueno el video!!!! son unos maestros

  • Guitar changes my life

  • 120 people came over from Pachelbel's rant

  • @cuesticksimpson no they don't

  • /watch?v=AFd9bPM0MZw LAGQ-toreadors!

  • 120 people like heavy metal

  • @juan041697

Don´t have prejudices. I like have metal, and I loved this. Some bands of heavy metal use a lot of classical music in their compositions. So research before comment.

  • @juan041697 no they don't

  • 120 people didn't "Loose" it to this song ;)

  • from 1 minute on its no more pachelbels canon but what is it? scheiße?!

  • @omoshiroidayo i think it's just stuff they made up after that, just in the same key as pachelbels canon

  • @omoshiroidayo its in the title, like a joke or pun on "loose cannon",someone that may behave erratically or in an unexpected fashion...which i will suppose goes back to warfare when a cannon came loose it would no longer fire as predictably or accurately as those that kept their moorings

  • @omoshiroidayo It's called VARIATIONS on Pachelbel's Canon in D. Read the description. The canon is in every single version they are playing, you just need to listen carefully. No need for profanities. Auch nicht wenn sie auf Deutsch sind, k?

  • This one totally looses the feeling of the piece. While a cool interpretation, I think it fails overall.

  • @Ralothael make your own version if you don't want this version. wew people today. tsk. tsk. -_-

  • Simply Brilliant

  • can we please stop thumbs upping the (insert number of dislikes) (insert hypothetical arbitrary justification for their lack of interest) comments?

  • Thats just amazing.

  • sugeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • The blues grass is my favorite part LAGQ For the win!!!

  • mantaffffffffff

  • Why would 119 people not like this song?

  • @ImZpErSon Out of 1.1 million views, you're bound to get a few fools. It's just the law of averages.

  • @JStrange13 ya but still those people don't know real music.

  • ^________________________________________^

  • Me encanta!! Very nice!!!!!!!!

  • Enjoyed listening to you in HH!!! Great and thanks, Heike.

  • I don't see how you can listen to these guys and not fall in love with their work! I have been to one of their concerts and they're outstanding!!

  • @Liamk503 I swear there is always a comment that is liked because it makes fun of the comment that commented about all the people who dislike the video

  • best canon version ive ever seen

  • Virtuosos!

  • audio stinks

  • I am related to Scott Tennant no joke

  • that jazzy version was tits!

  • Absolutely amazing!

  • How can you not like that???

  • BRAVISSIMMI!

  • Got to meet Bill and play with him. He was amazing!

  • man i'm gonna play the original one, i wish i could play this xD

  • Great variation, loved when he tuned to drop d in the middle of the song.

I guess I have a soft spot for classical music.

  • The first part is the best. Calm and soft. What is the song's name? I would like to learn it, and play it over and over again, when i feel alone.

  • @borzasiandras the whole song is the a piece by Pachelbel called canon. normally it's all calmer, but they decided to have some fun and be creative.

    hope this was any help.

    grtz from belgium.

  • @headbangingonfolk thank you very much. :D

    grtz from romania.

  • I love it when Scott Tennant goes to banjo bluegrass style!!!

  • wooo whitout words!!!

  • 111 people had their speakers muted

  • @AndrewB505 I still don't see how you could unlike such a remarkable performance... even with the speakers muted....

  • @alienwareufo maybe its people who are fed up of hearing pachelbel's canon,. which is literally everywhere?

  • @oetpay Then why watch the video?

  • @treehugger99999 then why have a dislike button?

your question presumes perfect foreknowledge, let alone that people will ONLY watch videos they like, and are never, say, watching a friend use the computer.

  • @oetpay That's hypothetical. The dislike button is for expressing your dissatisfaction with a video that you thought you would enjoy. If you don't like Pachelbel's canon, don't watch videos of it.

Also, if your friend showed you this video, then you found it again in your spare time just to reply to a comment, then wow. I respect the fact that you have an opinion, I'm just curious about the steps that lead to posting an anti-Pachelbel comment on a video clearly marked "Pachelbel".

  • @treehugger99999 i didn't post an anti-Pachelbel comment, i posted a reply to your anti-anti-Pachelbel comment. there's an important difference, namely that i was trying to provide you with a possible explanation for the dislikes, which you expressed confusion over.

has it occured to you that the title implies this isn't an unedited version of Pachelbel's canon? i certainly got the impression that it wasn't just a video of it.

  • @oetpay Fair enough.

  • @AndrewB505 or their brain.

  • @AndrewB505 thankyou these guys came to my school and they were amazing

  • @SuperSayin824 when did they come to ur school cuz they came to mine also

  • @sneekynavyseal last friday they were doing a show at my towns theater and since my schoo;s guitar program does a show there every year they aranged for them to come to my schoo

  • @SuperSayin824 school*

  • lo mejor q e oido en mi vida

  • I remember watching this way back when, before it had 10,000 views. It's great others are discovering LAGQ's talent.

  • @BroderickGoertzen Not too sure about that, cuz there's a good chance that I alone already watched this video 1057365 times :P

    LAGQ ROCKS

  • nice stuff... but i dont under stand why they mover there fingers right to left left right sumtimes when hitting a note, since it doenst do anything ,,, xD, its up and down that will give a vibrato effect xP

  • @FretWiz4rd It is nice I agree! But I disagree about the vibrato. The vibrato they are using is a traditional method of creating vibrato that you will find string players and classical guitarists all over the world using. It's a subtle vibrato, perfect for classical repertoire, and can also give the impression of greater depth and increased sustain to the note. It takes a lot less strain and tension than it takes to physically bend a heavy string up and down with one finger!

  • @FretWiz4rd Moving side to side causes a change in tension of the string. On a classical guitar, this kind of vibrato is far easier and usually more pleasant sounding than the electric guitar vibrato.

  • What's the spice of life again? I think it's cool. The title says it all. Fun & kind of Spike Jones meets Flatt & Scruggs & Chet Atkins meets Jose Feliciano & Chuck Mangione. Great !!

  • THE TABS!!

  • astronomical.....

  • How could you dislike this..

    1 its a masterpiece

1 it mixes different culture types of play styles

    1 its awesome?

    111 people just don't know..

  • Comment removed

  • nice! real music!

    maybe this is reggae? :D

  • Its a shame that for the most part only classical guitarists enjoy classical guitar, but these guys bring it to the people

  • 3:05 LMAO nice. corny as hell but i have to admit it's fun

  • Minute : 2:57 the best part of the whole song ... i was life in lichtenstein (ligita) but they didnt play this song =(

  • I saw this live once and it was a riot!

  • simply amazing.

  • 2:59 EPIC

  • adorei muito massa

  • Are these guys actually a spanish or Latin band?

  • @revolutionfan96 american. the one on the left (andrew york) came to our high school for a day and taught us in our guitar class.

  • Awesome group. If you reckon these guys are good check out MGQ in Australia to see what's happening down there - Awesome stuff... Crazy technique - and arrangements out of this world.

  • hahaha- a reggae version! awesome!!!These guys are soo good as a group and as individual players it's ridiculous. Most folks just don't get it. The big guys name is Scott Tennant. The guy with the curly hair is William Kanengiser-haha hilarious!

  • fun and very important

  • If Johann Pachelbel saw this he would be outraged and say "WTF did you do to my composition??"

Then I would slap him and say "Shut up, can't you see these gentlemen loved your composition so much they added different styles and variations to it?? Now buy me a big bucket of popcorn and some jerky."

  • Excellent!

  • load of shit. Give me Tommy Emmanuel any day.

  • Lost Pachelbel on the way somewhere but finished brilliantly

  • Absolutely sublime. LAGQ takes Pachelbel's Canon in D and weaves it into an amazing tapestry of mixed genres.

  • Pachelbel's Canon becomes Grand Canon! Crazy but Great!

  • what kind of music is it at 2:59 ?

could someone tell me 2 of 3 musics with that type of guitar riff ?

  • @JuliusRashad i recomend you try to find some banjo music. Dueling Banjos is a classic and a good place to start

  • @0neManVVolfpack thank you, duh ;)

  • @JuliusRashad The style of music at 3 minutes? It's American Bluegrass.

  • @JuliusRashad thats called bluegrass my friend.

  • one of wonders of the canon unlike a lot of other songs is that you can do any number of variations as these guys have proved, its an absolutely amazing piece!

  • Whata a WOW Show... Luv it...

  • FUN VERSION

  • Pessoal, me ajude divulgar este quarteto que é muito bom. Obrigada a todos!

    Acesse com nome abaixo

[ Um Brasil de Viola ] Viola Arranjada - Campinas (SP)

  • TACO BELL!

  • @some1islooking

    I think they say "pachelbel"

  • @AndrusPr8 always thought they said Tacobell hahalol

  • @some1islooking Real talk right now, I am eating a double decker as I watch this vid! LMAO!!!

  • Think about it. Pachbell's Canon (while not even a canon) is probably one of the most recognizable pieces of excrement in the classical canon...however these guys play with it so lightly and share such a broad range of stylistic interpretations, they make if fun and astounding in their competence. enjoyable until I can't bear the repeating nonsensical tune...

  • 106 retards sneezed when clicking the "like" button ^^

    love the music

  • So beautiful, funny, cool, amazing, outstanding and adorable! Hahaha! I don't know how to describe it. Pachelbel's Canon as Jazz, Blues, Rock, Country and so much more! Must get this DVD.

I wonder if they'll ever drop by the Philippines...

  • PACHELBEL!!!!!!!!! These guys are brilliant.

  • Have to see you guys live.

  • This gave me a braingasm

  • watched it thousand times

  • Sounds strange but creativity ... I like the piano version more

  • Way better than the album version, I would love to see them live. Maybe a trip to europe could happen?

  • I really love this song! Canon is among the best pieces of music ever written, and LAGQ have created a fantastic version of it!

    Impressing guitar-handling at around 3:00

  • I heart you LAGQ. I'm a musical purist but you just move my soul. 'Loose' Canon, indeed; I really chortled over that euphemism. Do whatever you wish- you'll only make it better!!

  • rsrsrs, MORRÍDERIR'

  • eu amooooooooooo essa música e ameeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeei essa versão! d+ d+ d+, mto mto LINDOOOOOOOO s2'

  • this rocks!..too bad that there are 106 stupid people having parkinsons disease who pressed the dislike button.^^.

  • OMG! so great!!

  • @ 2:00

  • wait... is that .... the Chocobosong?

  • how can 106 people dislike this?! what is wrong with these people??

  • @alexalexon—Musical Pharisees! Don't you know this Music is Holy, must be preserved in its original form at all cost, and such debauchery must be put down post haste!

My only complaint is that the sound on the vid is a bit off. I'd never heard of these guys—I'll be looking from now on.

  • i love it "canon" co ;) hahah

  • (This is mainly for "druss56") For the record, I'm a composition major at the University of Northern Colorado, and I would like to point out that if I ever wrote a piece that became popular enough for people to make variations on it like the LAGQ do with Pachelbel's cannon, I would be the humbled one. Imitation is TRULY the most sincere form of flattery...therefore I agree with all those who said that Pachelbel would be more honored than offended.

  • wow is sO beautifuL

    nice song

    Pachelbel you´re the best xD!!!

  • excelente!! felicitaiconesw

  • sungha did alone what these four are doing. LOL

  • Comment removed

  • nice canon variations

  • Druss, I dont know what are you talking about. Chopin made also variations on Mozarts la ci darem la mano. Do you find it disrespectful? :D

  • awesome - I have nothing else to say

  • wow!!

    so awsome!!

  • WOW!

    Just Wow Guys. Thanks!

  • 2:43 to 3:20 is quality!

  • BRAVO BRAVO !!!

  • Pachelbel has got to be turning in his grave right now my goodness...don't get me wrong these guys have talent but this is just disrespectful to the artitst and his piece I'm sorry

  • @druss56 *If Pachelbel wrote music for Mario games*

  • @druss56 There are hundreds of interpretations of every piece of classical music. Every conductor puts their own spin on a piece, every soloist creates a new version the minute they stand up to play. How is this any difference? Taking a theme and altering it on every pass is the core of classical music. Pachelbel would likely be amazed at how different his composition can be made to sound. It was a piece written to be changed; the countless versions available are a testament to that.
