all the comments saying you should drive faster.... Why would anyone, that does not know the road, is used to LHD cars and has probably paid a depoist on the hire car.
We've got some tight roads in the the Northeast US. For most of the trip I drove fast - lost of ground to cover to get to all the castles (except when large lorries came the other way). Theres no cops except on the Major highways and only cameras in the villages.
No one, native of tourist, drives fast in hedgerows like this, besides this was a "driveway" to a farm near White Castle. Of course I'll drive slower there. This video starts a few feet from the house
Why do you keep saying that? This is the second video in which you have said that same thing! Are you proud of that or something? You shouldn't be, writing a car off on a country road travelling at almost 100mph is not "cool" its fucking RETARDED.
@kaosobsidian I no it bloody hurt! but its the point of the fucking video, anyway why are you replying to this comment now anyway it was 5 Months ago i posted that!
Firstly Wales is not in England it is a seperate country. Secondly your driving is extremely slow. Most of these roads are national speed limit (60mp/h), I don't believe this one is. But you're still driving like a grade A pussy! lol
The road is probably older than the US. they are owned by farmers but a old bylaw which os probably older than the US states that public have a right to use them. no incentive for the farmer to make them wider.
i'm an american and i love roads like that. americans want to pave as much as possible, i'm starting to hate my country as its uglier everyday. i hope to visit the UK someday.
I've got loads of those roads where I live; Autumn is the worst because you get tractors harvesting comming down forcing me to reverse about a mile. Hate it.
Call it Wales, Great Britain, THE UK...whatever you call it...it is the most beautiful place on earth in my opinon. I live in Connecticut ( US ) but have travelled in the united Kingdom and was treated sooo incredibly nicely. Not only are these people kind and warm but the country is as well. LOVE LOVE LOVE it...I only hope to go back sometime soon!
Of course the guy is an American! What game was he trying to play - choosing an unclassified country lane that's been there for centuries, long before his own country was invented! What a muppet. I hope he was sent back to American by the next plane out of Heathrow!
this is a very old single track road he is driving down here! we have some where i live as well they usually date back to the beginning of the last century and are called d class roads!some od the better (wider)ones are called B roads. the main roads(A roads) are very good indeed! but, this type of road that he is driving down would be very pretty in summer... and really deadly in winter when its icy
You may get some Welsh people commenting on the fact Wales isn't in England :) Nice video though, I hate those narrow twisty roads in the country, specially at night!
That was fun! I drive a similar road (averaging 40 mph!)going to work each day. Thank God, everyone goes the same way and knows not to try driving against the morning "flow" - but watch out for cows on the road! - good videos, Craig.

Fairly standard rural road in any part of Britain really. 40 or 50 would be the normal speed there - you just need to be ready to brake.

And his point is?!! He's only driving down country lanes that were built for horse and cart, many of them built before the US was even colonised
