@CovetedQuandry I doubt that's what that is. He stopped using samples a while ago. He actually played all the instruments for the entire album, except for drums on a few songs.

Dimitri is great man because he's always on the move. I don't even like this song all that much but at a certain point, on a gut level I trust the man's attempts. He's on the right track because he doesn't make music for you to recognize "oh yeah that's Dimlite" it exists in an uncanny space where anything can happen and that's a fucking artist! I'm constantly "wrestling" with his music and I appreciate that it never gives me the instant gratification I've become so accustomed to with pop music
