SESM is a great airport in FS. I used to love going on MSN Gaming Zone and having a ton of people join me in SESM and all we'd do was circle around in the pit. :D
For years I made flightsim videos and really enjoyed it (although, as you'll know, its a lot of work). I suggest that you avoid panning and swinging the camera view around the plane as you do. Not only is this unnatural (you wouldnt see it done in a real aviation video), but it also tends to make the viewers dizzy and confused. Much better to shoot the plane from each angle, then use an editor like Sony Vegas to edit the shots.

What does the RAM help with. Because my dad said that the i7, i5, i3 were not compatible with my computer so he said he could get the computer guy to upgrade my graphics card and boost my RAM. How would that help my performance?
@base5ballsspilot the RAM imporves your computer work speed, and by upgrade your graphics makes your computer be able to run more advanced graphics for ex. heavier games.
HEY MAN WHATS UP? LOOK I GOT A PC LIKE YOU BUT WITH 9G RAM, BUT I CANT GET FPS LIKE YOU! CAN YOU MAKE A VIDEO FROM YOUR SETTINGS SO I CAN SEE THEM AND PUT MY SETTING LIKE YOU BECAUSE I REALLY DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!
@TechNewsWeeklyMMXI Your graphics card ran out of VRAM, that is the error you are getting. higher settings means higher VRAM. The only way to get it to run is by lowering your settings to near minimum, but I would suggest saving up and getting either a 400 series card or even better, a 500 series card from Nvidia. Again, keep in mind that it is not your actual RAM, because 4 gigs is more than enough for FSX, but it's the VRAM(or Video RAM) on your gpu.
@soccerman9321 massively have to disagree!! I use a i7-2600K at 4,2 Ghz 8 GB Ram and a GTX 570.. and guess what, framerates can go down to 17 fps. So If you are fine with crappy looking graphics maybe you are right but when it comes to real dense scenery and highest resolutions, you can never have enough resources!!
@manhenk it is probably a driver or compatibility problem because there have been problems like that with fsx. The computer you have could probably run Crysis 2 nearly or fully maxed out which is a MUCH MUCH more graphical game.
@soccerman9321 again I have to disagree, framerates vary between 150 to 17 and all the software is officialy bought! It depends upon the aircraft that one chooses and the area where you fly, the density and overall quality of the scenery! Furthermore my system runs perfect. There are no errors listed in the systems configuration. All drivers are up to date! Believe me, FSX sucks up enormous amounts of resources.

i think you should try use a sectional chart and make it the most realistic flight you can get it so it can be like you are a real pilot and inspire people to try it because it can be fun knowing what it is like to be a pilot.
@Cessna154 You do know how fraps works right? If your graphics card can handle lets lay, 60 fps. but when you start recording you only get 25, well fraps is so clear in its recordings because it replicates everything on the screen and has to write it to the hard drive of solid state drive. My solution was buying 4 80gig hard drives and i put them in Raid 0, and that might seem dangerous but i have not had any problems yet. Just i thought though :D love your videos BTW

Quad i7s have 8 cores (because of the 'HyperThreading Technology', one core can have two threads, meaning 4 cores x 2 threads = 8 total threads). In a similar way, hex core i7s have 12 cores (if you do the math, and I'm doubtless you can =) ).
Check out my channel if you have the time, the specs of my new PC setup are posted and updated there ;)

land a 747 on a aircraft carrier
TheFallout89 11 months ago
i think you should try use a sectional chart and make it the most realistic flight you can get it so it can be like you are a real pilot and inspire people to try it because it can be fun knowing what it is like to be a pilot.
