  • I saw him in Royal Oak in MI fall 1982 as well. Are you still kicking yourself b/c we could have went up to the stage at that time? He also showed off his ganster dance moves that night. oh the pain....lol...

  • pino palladino on bass made this record extra special..ive got a bass identical to his..its a fretlkess unlined musicman..nothing else sounds like it or nearly as good!

  • i would have shit my pants if i was in new york at the time and saw gary numan

  • Amazing song... as is Music for Chameleons. Did Pino Paladino play bass on both songs? The bass is amazing on both tracks and sound similar...

  • Pino Palladino could play the hell of the bass.Where in the hell did the saxs come from. They were never use in this song or maybe in the early version?

  • I take back every thing I said about the eighties. Thats the last decade that was totally original. The music that was produced back then was awesome.

  • Turn the sheets down and turn on the neon!!! Jesus Christ, . .I'm coming!!!

  • whoooooooooooo!

  • Amazing vocals, only Numan can sing like that, sadly though seems hes lost the unique edge in his voice recently, saw him back in March on his replicas tour, amazing show, rocked the entire venue.

  • Remember this!

    Great.

  • Gary Numan is my hero I LOVE him!!!

  • This is definitely Pino Paladino on bass...He's an awesome bass player. Also played on "Everytime you go away" by Paul Young.

  • my post was in reply to "solidpresenceofgone"

  • That was a v. smart and accurate observation, shevaron ;-)

  • This sounds like Japan. Even his voice.

  • that's possibly because Pino Paladino is playing bass on this (who's play style was similar to Mick Karn from Japan)

  • man this vidoe make you fell liketohave a party and dance drive everything

  • Wow, I remember this, was a big Numan fan, at the time. (Still am on and off)

  • Who says white men can't dance?

fred astaire, gene kelley, travolta, 80's dancing. swing, waltz, etc etc. all european creations.

I dance better than 99% of the black people in the hood. But then again I didn't have media pc fuckcrap and mtv telling me I couldn't back in the late 70's early 80s. not yet at least.
