The problem with the commercial ones is that the company is trying to make a profit, which means they'll cut corners and you'll get less for your money.
I was looking at these but wasn't sure about them so thank you for posting this. The A-pack MREs are pretty good too if you want to try something different.
gum is to keep your teeth as clean as possible to keep them as healthy as possible.coffee is for the caffeine purposes.whoever told you otherwise is and idiot.the meat however does remind me of catfood.
MRE bad or not bad....in a tragedy or whatever moment.... i wouldn't give damn if it taste bad, smells bad or if its dry as HELL.... if it can keep me alive and keeps me away from starving to death.... then its all good
I agree I really enjoyed your review on the MRE and I also would like to see more videos on that. You reviewing a military one would be cool. Keep up the videos they are great.
Hey man, I liked your demo on making the paracord bracelet, but you didnt go into much detail so I thought I would ask; about how much paracord did you start with or would you recommend one start with in order to get a decent bracelet?
Is there a way to make it to maximize the length of cord into the same size of bracelet? (such as doubling the wraps and making it wider?)
Did that box come with a cheese and veggie omelette?? You should have ate that one and earned a spot next to bear grylls for eating things that arent food XD
That does look good... I hear the chiclet gum was a laxative (the Tabasco too? Dunno). Maybe what they make the civ. stuff out of goes through you easier. Hey, that clasp-whistle thing is a good idea. Where'd ya get it?
Looks good Trevor. No soldier fuel type bar but pretty good none the less. The bracelet you were make looks great. What knots did you use to secure the loop to the 2 buckles?
@CdnLifeguard71 Thanks for watching Nate.. To be honest, I'm not sure what knots I used.. On one side, I just did a couple of half hitches, and the other side I started with half a square knot.. LOL
That MRE actually looked pretty good. I have tried some civilian MREs before and they tasted horrible. Did the warmer come with the MRE?(others that I have tried require you to buy the warmer separately) Thanks for sharing Trevor.
Great vid bro! I lived that scenario for 20 years in the Marines. Make sure to drink plenty of water because those things will back the pipes up! God bless.
That bracelet is the coolest thing I've ever seen. Can you show how you put it on the buckles? And where you got the buckles and chord from? I know the pattern but not sure how you do the buckles. Awesome video!
Do those MRE's come with Pizza in them? if so then I need to buy me some! That spot looks real nice to sit and relax, make lunch and have a nap, I need to find me a spot where I could do the same. Thank you for taking the time and sharing your lunch with us. Stay safe. -Tim
@TheTacticalDefender Thanks Tim... It wouldn't surprise me to find a pizza in one of these.. I honestly don't look through the meals.. I just grab and go. That way, I'm not picky when I eat them. Take care my friend
Good video! You can get the tiny bottles of Tabasco sauce thru the Tabasco Country store website. Look at the weather in the back ground, you have it a little dryer than here in Tacoma.

@IronRangeSurvival HAHA.. One of the few times we got GP Mediums in Korea, I put 6 bottles down the smoke stack of our 1SG's and CPT's pot belly stove. Apparently, when the bottles break, the stuff acts like CS.. They came out coughing and crying.. It was great.. Thanks for watching
