@LukeBasarab now that I've read some of the Sailor V manga it's kind of funny... because Minako has a virtually identical transformation pen of her own. I guess since it was never shown in the anime, it made more sense to say she borrowed Usagi's.

@idislikepink I always wondered that as a child. Surprisingly, in the manga, minako was supposed to be the decoy moon princess to keep everyone from finding the moon princess and I believe she used that attack when she appeared, so it would make some sense for manga fans to have her attack when she's still sailor venus instead of change it up

@CharityxKilo It even goes a bit further. As Sailor V Minako got her powers from the moon (not the Venus) and had a crescent compact. This compact was her weapon the crescent beam and her disguise 'pen' - which she must have used to become Sailor Moon.

- Although in the manga it used to work way better. :D

(And yes, Crescent beam would have been more fun xD)
