Genesis later absorbed the power from "the gift of the goddess" and turned into the monster, which Zack proceeded to also defeat and return genesis to a normal state without degradation.

@SwordSkill2 its true that zack lost against sephiroth when he went insane and set niblehim on fire but even with the damage of Hojo's experiments he still continued to gain strength and thus i believe if he had the superior equipment cloud did, he would have easily trounced sephiroth in a one on one battle.

That's a mystery by it self, cause Sephiroth appeared several years later (Although it was the reunion thingy...) btw, when they were creating the game, they wanted to make Sephiroth the one who was Aeris boyfriend but they realized that would make Sephiroth look uncool or something, so they left that idea out.. They wanted to make Sephiroth more like a heartless villain that ended up killing Aeris and they were given Zack the role of Aeris's boyfriend at the end XD.

@SwordSkill2 not true, angeal, although the perfect project G experiment he ended up being the weakest of the 3 legendary SOLDIER first-class's. he was originally stronger than genesis who was degrading but he was killed by Zack after he fused with multiple monsters making him even stronger. Genesis later absorbed the power from "the gift of the goddess" and turned into the monster, which Zack proceeded to also defeat and return genesis to a normal state without degradation.

PS: I hated the Banora undergrounds (CC Final Dungeon.) I mean... It sucked so much.. All those jails and stuff... Looked more like playing Silent Hill rather than Crisis Core XD.

@SwordSkill2 its true that zack lost against sephiroth when he went insane and set niblehim on fire but even with the damage of Hojo's experiments he still continued to gain strength and thus i believe if he had the superior equipment cloud did, he would have easily trounced sephiroth in a one on one battle.

Well... Cloud did beat him? That's a mystery by it self, cause Sephiroth appeared several years later (Although it was the reunion thingy...) btw, when they were creating the game, they wanted to make Sephiroth the one who was Aeris boyfriend but they realized that would make Sephiroth look uncool or something, so they left that idea out.. They wanted to make Sephiroth more like a heartless villain that ended up killing Aeris and they were given Zack the role of Aeris's boyfriend at the end XD.

The first is achievable in a PSP, but the second is more limited by the space & processor speed issues I think O.o...
