Yeah she'd playing to backing tracks but at least she's singing live, some bands do a lot less. Also, when she actually plays live they don't use backing tracks. It's a very different sound when she plays a live venue. I don't know how popular she is over there but if she hasn't been on the radio much before she probably wants to show off her produced sound because if that's the first time people are hearing her music they'll really get to know her style and not just her live sound.
