Honestly, Nay sayers of this festival, if your so worked up about starving third world people then you stop giving recklessly and start looking up ways to help teach under developed countries on how to farm correctly so that the soil doesn't loose it's moister and create desertification instead of complaining about it here because it's not doing anything to help.

its a celebration of peoples hard work through the harvest and for the people of spain to have a bit of fun, the tomatos they used for this would probs aid 1% of the starving people in the third world (if that). lets them have a bit of fun jesus
