I so wanted Nan and Kitty to get back together! That passion was awesome. But I guess Nan realised that Kitty probably wasn't still ready to be as open as Nan wanted. And ultimately it would maybe break her heart again.

But I think Keeley Hawes did such a great job of playing Kitty with a warmth and vunerability that you couldn't hate her and couldn't help but hope she did find true love or get to win Nan back.

I agree, they do belong together, but Kitty chose the "safe" option. And left poor Nan heartbroken. Guess Nan chose for Flo to avoid having her heart broken again. My life's a carbon copy of that. Got my own Kitty. But not ready for a Flo.

Of course, Nan and Kitty were passionate with each other but it wasn't very mutual. Kitty cared more about advancing in her career.

Nan and Florence had more of a true love. I liked nan's choice at the end, it was as if she found what she'd been wanting. Florence was so nice, sweet and innocent! :)

I think Kitty realised she had made a massive mistake not staying with Nan and by that time it was too late for them. I think they had that first love passion, which is what I liked in them together. Its funny - lots of people are always split about who they think Nan should have been with! Its such a great drama. Thanks so much for your comment! :)

Truly I adore.. this is a sublime BBC telemovie/mini-series.. it just has to be my fave of all time. Rachael Stirling is a brilliant actor.. I own only a few DVD's and Tipping The Velvet is certainly amongst them. Perfect choice of song .. thnx so very much!!!!
