Damn, I still remember the newspaper the very next day after the Lakers picked up Kobe on a draft-trade for Vlade back in July of 96. And here we are nearly 14 years later, 11 time all-star, all nba defender every year, league MVP, 4 time champion, the list goes on-and-on! This guy is unquestionablly the greatest player of his generation, and noone comes close. T-mac, Iverson, LeBron, Carmelo, Vince Carter, and countless players have proven to be great, but not winners like Kobe Bryant.
