  • Best PF of all time imo took a subpar twolves team deep in the playoffs year after year in a stacked western conference.

  • @Blizz2ColdX Actually most of his playoff runs ended in first round eliminations until the one year they got talent around him

  • Best Power Forward All Time? up for debate. but its between KG and CB34 to who was the most VERSATILE and i give the edge to KG21

  • @Love42Beasley8Rubio9 Tim is definitly the best pf of all time imo. Not only was he dominant but his succcess if unparalleled by most pf's in nba history. But better Malone/KG/Barkley the second spot is really anyones goes imo

  • KG playing a pointguard? damn

  • such a skilled and versatile player

  • It wouldv'e been nice to see kevin Garnett win a ring in minnesota

  • imagine the celtics having THIS KG, prime Ray, prime PP and Rondo. I smell Dynasty.

  • @derailedtruth Yeah, i'll agree..but they would have never been traded at thier prime. Ray is still magic.. shooters never lose thier shot!

  • the best T-wolves team that I ever saw

  • S.cassell and KG

  • i remember watching this game live and when they showed the replay of kg's last shot (OP didn't include it), the commentators were saying how garnett was so smart, how after he caught the ball, he looked at the OPPOSITE shot clock in order to determine the time left and realized he needed to get his shot off.

  • this is the garnett i was a fan of played pg sf pf and center i miss that shit

  • I love watching KG play. He is the most complete bigman I've ever seen. He is running point people. POINT!!

  • Damn KG had handles back then

  • KG has reinvented the power-forward post. He is a pioneer who has really revolutionized the game at his post...

    What a player !

  • KG is the best pf in nba history IMO favorite player

  • Oh man. the days, when power forwards and centers used to rule the game. We need a new dominant breed, or for the current bigman stars to come out again! Wing players and point guards have ruled lately.

  • Such a pity Sam Cassel was injuried during western finals vs LA.

KG and the Wolves would have beaten Detroit in the Finals I'm sure.

  • best PF in nba history

  • @sp33dy52

    Top 4 along with Duncan/Barkley/Malone

  • @SwagSoSickRick

    Dirk > Malone/Barkley/Garnett.

  • @aThanat0s are you dumb

  • @SwaggKiddJay

Dirk just beat the two best players in the NBA as the first option as his team, and won Finals MVP. Malone has no rings, Barkley has no rings, and Garnett won as a 2nd option.

    ...are you?

  • @aThanat0s Malone and Barkley played in the Jordan era, In Minnesota the best players Garnett ever played with was Cassell(old), Sprewell(old), Sealy(Died), Marbury(Left early) and Szczerbiak... Compare that to Nash, Finley, Walker, Jamison, Van Exel, Howard, Stackhouse, Terry, Kidd, Marion, Peja, Chandler, Butler...

    He should have atleast 3

  • @aThanat0s wow rings don't mean anything dude Malone had Stockton Barkley had no team but he dirk is nice but he has not surpassed those two legends and this was dirks only break out year he has been in for 13+ years and is now all of a sudden the PF ever no

  • @aThanat0s o yea Tim Duncan has done it and won twice!!!!!!

  • @SwaggKiddJay

lol @ "Rings and FMVP's don't matter". Give me a break with that crap.

Also, what do I care if people played in Jordan's era? Hakeem played in Jordan's era, and he's easily a top 10 player of all time.

  • @aThanat0s i never said tht it did not matter guy it matters but its also a team effort if terry didn't step up they would have lost that last game and when dirk was sick and your proving my point Malone faced Jordan in the finals and played his ass off Malone is much better than dirk guy. and like i said Tim Duncan can you explain when he beat the Lakers and went the finals and won and when he sweep lebron in the finals in 07 so is Duncan better than Dirk?

  • @SwaggKiddJay

Yes, Duncan is better than Dirk. But Duncan is a Center.

Malone choked throughout his career, including the two finals against Jordan.

  • @aThanat0s dude his second is center and i mean Malone matched up against the best player to play the game dirk is not better than Malone. Ever since he won people been on his sack saying he better than kobe, lebron, and all other and his is the best PF ever to play no what happened to the past years of his career he was not the best until he wins his Ring so I guess when lebron wins one he is better than jordan -__-

  • @aThanat0s im sorry just because you don't win ring does not mean people who has rings surpassed you like Stockton he has none and rondo has 1 who is better

  • @SwaggKiddJay

You gotta take it into context. Adam Morrison has two rings, that doesn't mean he'd better than Malone.

But when comparing two players of the same position, and the same skill level (superstars), rings and Finals MVPs definitely come into play.

  • @aThanat0s yes but dirk also had people to back him up when he was down like Kidd who had some nice 3's and terry who was amazing or Deshaun S. he shot some big shots Malone only had John who could really help him out and winning a finals is a team effort so if terry did not step up then dirk would have nothing.

  • @aThanat0s a Malone was better defensively grabbed more boards and dominated the paint and not to mention his close and inside shots and some what mid-rang. Dirk can only shoot better and score. Malone was a more complete PF cause you cant say dirk had better D and you cant say he can take over in the paint like he could or grab rebounds. Dirk is only better in shooting

  • @SwaggKiddJay

Malone is better defensively in almost any way, Dirk is better offensively in almost any way. And Malone's FT% was god awful in his prime, something like 75%. He lost games due to his Free Throws.

And of course Dirk had teammates, I'm not arguing that. All I said is he was the 1st option on his team, and beat the two best players in the world (maybe #1/#3) at the same time. Pretty impressive.

  • @aThanat0s wait when you say #1 do you mean lebron and dirk could not do work in the paint like Karl and your right about free throws. dirk is better offensively but just mid range and outside shot not close, inside or the paint and Malone had no team for help so you cant expect NBA titles from the jazz on Malone's input

  • @SwaggKiddJay

Malone had Stockton, a top 50 player ever...as well as Hornacek and Russell. The Jazz had a really good team in the 97 and 98 Finals.

  • @aThanat0s Hornacek to me did not do much and yea Byron Russell was good but still you have to look at each others skill set first and Malone could do more than dirk as an player
