They had her take 2 thumbtack bumps, & he sternum was shattered when she wrestled that Rossi Lottalove chick. And apparently they told her they'd cover medical bills before she agreed to take those bumps & went back on their word.

I think if the person has the will/talent to go through more extreme matches then let them do it once in a while and make sure everyone has the right training. And people need to realize what this is about, it's scripted, women fighting men is empowering, and sit down and tell their kids they will die if they imitate it.

What's more when she fell her left arm hit the fence that you see briefly right by her in the overhead shot, & ended up fracturing it. This all after she pleaded with mgmt. that she didn't want to do the stunt but was pressured into it. I just saw her 2 weeks ago when she made an appearance at a local indie show. You can't see her now & say she's faking her injury claims.

Few weeks after this incident, she suffered a serious concussion and bruised sternum in a dark match with an inexperienced worker. This was a horrible spot. Daffney took an unprotected bump from off the top to the floor, suffered a serious injury, didn’t get medical attention and to top it off TNA wouldn’t cover her medical expenses despite forcing her to take the bump. I’m all for the occasional high spot (Money in the Bank is my second favorite match ach year), but TNA has a horrible track record with protecting wrestlers 1/2

What's more when she fell her left arm hit the fence that you see briefly right by her in the overhead shot, & ended up fracturing it. This all after she pleaded with mgmt. that she didn't want to do the stunt but was pressured into it. I just saw her 2 weeks ago when she made an appearance at a local indie show. You can't see her now & say she's faking her injury claims.

@dudeme12 She stated that she wasn't comfortable taking the bump, but yes, she was pressured to do so. Threatens of loss in pay and a drop off of television can do that. Few weeks after this incident, she suffered a serious concussion and bruised sternum in a dark match with an inexperienced worker. She was assured that TNA management would cover hospital expenses... to which they dodged or completely backed out on. Hence Daffney's leaving and subsequent worker's comp claim/ law suit.

@naraicks Taylor and creative writer Vince Russo pressured Daffney into performing the spot. She was hesitant on the idea, was assured that she would be fine and taken care of. She suffered a concussion taking the maneuver and was taken to an Orlando area hospital via ambulance. Furthermore, Spike TV wouldn’t allow TNA to air the spot during iMPACT! due to their policy on men-on-women violence.
That's why you can't see her head.

This was a horrible spot. Daffney took an unprotected bump from off the top to the floor, suffered a serious injury, didn’t get medical attention and to top it off TNA wouldn’t cover her medical expenses despite forcing her to take the bump. I’m all for the occasional high spot (Money in the Bank is my second favorite match ach year), but TNA has a horrible track record with protecting wrestlers 1/2

I loved Daffney in WCW and was thrilled to see her comeback. The company's treatment of its wrestlers is wrong on so many levels.

She was coaxed by Vince Russo into taking an unprotected bump from the top rope onto a concrete floor. When she got to the hospital TNA assumed zero responsibility and refused to pay her medical bills claiming she chose to take the spot. That's why we have a problem with it.

I'm conflicted about giving this video a thumbs up. On the one hand Daffney deserves props for doing this, on the other hand TNA is horrible. I think I'd rather not like nor dislike it, because really: Ignoring TNA is just the right thing to do at this moment. They are the carniest, scummiest business right now, a true heir to WCW, just without the part of their history where they put on a quality program for longer than three months in a row.
