@P4ckerBacker52 also try carrying the fucking thing for 5+ hours then klift it up onto your shoulder and try fireing it without shakeing oh and hold it up alittle at least 30 seconds because it's not like the guy is always gonna be right there you might have to wait for him to poke his head up and if your useing a tripod awesome then it's not a infantry support weapon because you need to always go to the ground to use the damned thing face it it's to heavy and bulky use the m60e4.

@GUNS4MIKE1234 Reliability is one of the reasons the 240 is kept in infantry use. yeah its not the lightest gun but soldiers can put up with it and the weight is a small price to pay when you know the weapon your behinde is gonna keep you alive. its extremly reliable. and with the 7.62 round it has the stopping power. since im enlisted in the Marines ima compare the M240G which weighs 25 pounds. a decent sized Marine can carry tht all day and with the reliability? its a great weapon choice.

Did the original 240's match the FN MAG exactly or where they modified at all? I know the Canadian Forces C6 has the original longer lash suppressor while the 240 one looks more like an M16/M4 suppressor/hider. Also the US uses a plastic or polymer but stock while ours still uses wood.
