Recca's wife, here. Risu is a full-blooded Siberian, while Herc (the black cat) is an American shorthair with Siamese ancestry. Risu's answer to anything thwarting her these days is to act cute until she gets her way. We picked her up as a stray when we lived down South; we had no idea she was full-blooded anything. We just knew she needed us.
I'd bet she's a Siberian. She looks almost exactly like our Lynksys. No Persian in the lineage, which is why she doesn't have the squashed face. Siberians are a recently-recognized breed, and often mistaken for Birmans, Himalayans or Ragdolls. Fascinating breed, though. Google it!
@reccasquirrel Not all fluffy cats have to be persian :) She could be Maine Coon, Birman, Ragdoll, Norwegian Forest Cat, Id say somewhere around Ragdoll or Himalayan

We don't know for certain. She is definitely of Persian breed. She was a newborn stray when we found her.
