I still love watching this review. xP funny thing, it took almost forever to find it cuz it was so rare in my town I guess. I checked every gamestop. All sold out. Then I see am FYE, thinking "eh its not gonna be there. I know it" but I still checked, and lucky me I found it. Last copy also. Xp best $25 I ever spent.

ARCADE PERFECT PORT?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Yes the characters animate and move well but the backgrounds are flat and stale. What is this guy smoking? Gameplay is always the most important but this is NOT an arcade perfect port of "Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3".

How are the backgrounds stale? They look fine to me for DS standards. Besides, he was mostly focusing on the gameplay which, like you said, matters the most in gaming.  Judging a game by the graphics only is pathetic! No offense. I learned that when trying a few ports of MK2. The arcade version does have better graphics and music, but the Super Nintendo version was easier to pick up and play while the difficulty of the arcade is relentless, but not as nuts as MK Advance.

My comment was "it is not a perfect arcade port". Because it is not a perfect arcade port. What is really disappointing is in the MK Arcade Kollection for PS3, the audio is really messed up on UMK3. No excuses for that unless it was rushed.

This is a great port of UMK3. Took me a while to get everything, but pretty much worth it. Only thing I have with it, the fatality move list on the other screen doesn't tell the distance it's performed at. Other than that, and awesome game.

@ TotalMK actually Mr. Educated, the DSiXL has the best speakers by far. The old DS has the worst and smallest screen. the cheapest mic, screens made of fiber glass that easily scratch, cheap paint , worst battery life, least features, the most uncomfortable stylus, the ugliest, bulkiest design, the cheapest spring loader in slot A, the weakest hinge design and the least goes on. Good thing the d-pad is slightly more comfortable. That's totally worth never upgrading.
