This was the only good moment in "Arthur 2: On the Rocks," simply because John Gielgud makes his cameo here. To me that's one of the great things about YouTube, if a movie has only one good scene or good joke or whatever you can just watch it.
I too got lost a few years ago & I was so lonely in a crowd when I lost a loved one & believe it or not I got a pat on my back to tell me that she wasn't far away from me but that she was at my side & ever since that day life has been a little bit easier for me to know she's always near to me?I'm not religious but I believe through my experience that our loved ones are always by our sides?
Sir Arthur John Gielgud, lepiej znany jako John Gielgud (ur. 14 kwietnia 1904 w Londynie, zm. 21 maja 2000 w Wotton Underwood) − brytyjski aktor teatralny i filmowy, wybitny odtwórca ról szekspirowskich, pochodził z polsko-litewskiej rodziny magnackiej Giełgudów herbu Giełgud.
Was suprised to read today that this film was not a popular as gthe first. Some even said it was crap. This film is just as good as the first. 'Im thankful I got the smallest piece of meatloaf' Classic!
I second that. But lest you forget, Steve Gordon, who was part of the first film, passed away suddenly of a heart attack a few years before this sequel was made. This film is dedicated to Mr. Gordon's memory.
arthur 2 was great, just as good as the original, so many funny scenes in it, especially when arthur fires the shotgun then says pull ( for the flying disc to be fired, and then says hit the bullet hit the bullet...classic !
Arthur 2 was a pretty crappy movie, especially when compared to the original. But this one scene was pure gold and was film's only saving grace. John Gielgud's on-screen brilliance is almost magical and Dudley Moore is the perfect foil for him.
"If projectile vomiting ever becomes an olympic event; you'll do your country proud." I loved BOTH movies. This scene totally stole the show in Arthur 2...you can't help but love Hobson!!
Ooo, that is the most hilarious scene ever! I got plenty of screencaps from that scene! I have the DVD, but I have no idea what kind of software I need to upload it! Otherwise, I would have uploaded it a LONG time ago!
i think that's all that i could get away with. however, you can rent it or buy it. it also is still shown on TV especially around the holidays so watch for it. thanks for the compliment.

A TERRIBLE MOVIE!! What a waste of talent. Even Dudley Moore hated this movie!!!
BalletWatcher 1 year ago
For me, Arthur 2 is a guilty pleasure. The original is a classic, and Dudley was robbed from the Best Actor Oscar, but this film is nice.
NOcomunismo92 1 year ago
Not to take anyting away from Dudley's Moore's absolute comic genius, but John Gielgud as Hobson was just so perfect!!
