  • I loved it! You are very good! How many hours a day should i practice my instrument?

  • would you recommend your string choice listed here? (violino+evah gold E)??

they do sound nice, but do you like them?

  • @InkyCellist: The strings work really well on my violin. The store I bought them from allowed me to try various brands to compare what worked and didn't.

  • sounded really nice to me..and I'm sure if i tried it...well..you sounded GREAT!!!!

  • Excellent!

  • very nice!!!

    good luck!!!

  • im a violin player and im wondering with the body movement thing that of orchestra people do

like do they know how crazy it looks?

  • Do you know how horrible it sounds if they don't?

  • Hey guys, Amazing that so many people are coming together thanks to the YTSO - Did you know they are now also making a film about it? Check it out -harmonyfilm com- looks like a great project.

  • I dont like this piece so i wont comment on the playing

  • theis dudies alwys complayning lol

  • Great play but still lack of the feel

  • Good Job

  • Oooh, Brahm! =D You're really good!

  • Cool!!! After only day of practice:-)

It is impressive to see people dedicating them self to play violin.

On one of them central european chats someone described violin as ancient version of MP3 player, and as an adjective mentioned how the strings are made. That comment made me worry that the inhabitants are quickly degenerating

On the sunny side I recall parody of bumble bee flight ending with 'pac!' destroying the insect:-)

  • YEAH Toronto!!! Good stuff!

  • great!

  • Beautiful, really beautiful.

  • Does playing the violin have any long term effects on one's hearing as the years pass by?

  • I think there have been numerous studies on the long term effects of playing instruments, and the decibel exposure musicians have is higher than the safe limit unfortunately. Violin probably has a lesser impact than the brass instruments or the piccolo.

  • Really? I think the violin has a greater chance of causing hearing loss (due to its proximity to the ear) than a brass or wind instrument.

  • Of course it does, instruments are meant to be heard.

  • Very well done.

  • great job! this one's a little weird in terms of shifting, but you made it look easy (which i know its not lmao) the only thing i could suggest is watch your bow work. brilliant, though

  • LOL.. your funny. i bet you can't even come close to this so why even critique it? People have some nerve.. or should I say ego issues.

  • dude u can be a teacher even if u cant play it, you can KNOW wat prosition your hand/bow styles are supposed to be. how do u kno that he doesnt play?

  • If she doesn't make into the Youtube orchestra I will be surprised. Very good technique and articulations!

  • I don't like this kind of music, but I know good music when I hear it :D. Good job! :3

  • Awesome... really awesome!

  • good

  • Great gal, great music :)

  • i'm from Toronto, ON too

i'm very surprised, being able to perform this piece a day before the deadline is tough.....and yet you managed to perform it clean and smooth.

i was thinking of auditioning for the YTSO, but the audition pieces were beyond my skill level.....maybe next time. good luck

  • Toronto is such a dirty city, you people need to buy some brooms

  • coming from a 52 year old from the states? i haven't been to a city in the U.S. that didn't call for a shower right after.

  • So If I wrote I was a talking tree you'd belive it?

  • lol

  • its funny when people say that because they sound like a redneck. Go get educated (in redneck language >> Go get learned)

  • wow! you only practiced for ONE day before?!??!!??!?! I did not know that. I can't imagine how good you could sound if you had practiced like many others!

  • Very good accuracy and very fine movements! But I do have to bring up that you move alot too much sideways with your bow, and this is where you get this gritching soud at different moments, but besides that great music

  • Your eyes show your heart

    Very intense

    You know your music

You go and suceed your dream
