I use a home smoker from Cookshack that has produced consistent results. SM025. My only complaint is that the meat thermometer only worked for two or three smokings before it stopped.

@AnotherAmateur - call Cookshack, it should have a warranty, or the retailer that you bought it from should help you with that...

@AnotherAmateur Update: Cookshack sent me a new temperature probe AND a new sensor connection for the control box. Everything seems to be working fine now. Cookshack will take care of you!
